Loved this retreat, we woke first morning to water buffalo outside the balcony, and saw fireflies the second night. We used the free bikes to cycle around the rice fields and get to local attractions easily. Breakfast was local and ok. Staff were great, bring a torch for wandering the area at night as some parts are not lit.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The room was very basic and did not have a duvet or blanket. This made sleeping uncomfortable because the air conditioning blew directly onto the bed, while turning it off was not practical in the heat. Construction work was taking place each day while new rooms were being built, which affected the peace and atmosphere of the retreat. Breakfast was also extremely basic, and after the first morning we chose to eat elsewhere. Used plates, glasses and leftover food were also often left around the pool area for several hours after guests had finished, which made the area look untidy and detracted from what should have been one of the more pleasant parts of the property. Most disappointing was being charged twice for our transfer back to Hanoi. I raised this with the property and was told the money would be refunded. Despite following up three times, the refund has still not been received. I do not leave a two-star review lightly, but the basic room, construction noise, poor breakfast, lack of attention around the pool area and unresolved double charge made this a very disappointing stay.

Ein sehr schönes ruhig liegendes Hotel, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Der Pool lädt zum entspannen ein & der kostenlose Fahrrad Verleih zum erkunden der wunderschönen Reisfelder und dem kleinen Dorf mit tollen Essensmöglichkeiten. Wir würden aber auf jeden Fall nicht nochmal das kleinste Zimmer buchen, aber wir kommen garantiert wieder! Das Personal ist sehr und hilfsbereit, sie waren großartig!
