Was thrilled to see that the pictures looked just the same as in person. The campsite was clean and the staff were quick to respond with everything. Would 100% come back. My only gripes are that the trail to the river, isn't much of a river, more of a swamp and the wait to get a camper name and code an hour before check in is somewhat anxiety provoking. Even with those gripes I would strongly recommend this place to a family member or friend! Thank you Postcard rentals !

This is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, as though you are camping, but have a comfortable room with all necessary amenities, PLUS things for a campfire! Very fun and private, except for the Baltimore Oriole who came to chat with us while at our firepit!!

We stayed at the Romelo Postcard Cabin in Ottawa at Postcard Cabins Ottawa for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin was SO cute, super clean, and unbelievably peaceful — exactly the kind of place where you instantly slow down and just breathe again. We spent the day hiking at Matthiessen State Park, which was absolutely beautiful, then had an unbelievable dinner at Niku Japanese Kitchen just minutes from the cabin. Ending the evening back at the cabin with a cozy fire was the perfect reset. Everything about the stay was easy, cozy, and just what we needed to celebrate such a special milestone. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our anniversary — already want to plan another trip back.

We had the sweetest stay at Postcard Cabins near Starved Rock. The setting was peaceful and the views were beautiful — exactly the quiet reset we needed. We loved relaxing by the campfire and really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities: coffee, hot cocoa, oatmeal, water, and plenty of firewood. The bed was super comfortable and the whole cabin felt cozy and well cared for. It was a perfect getaway with my husband and we’re already planning to come back.
