How is this hotel 5 star?

This hotel is FAR from 5 stars. It took over an hour to check in because reception could not find our reservation. They did little to quickly resolve this and just left us waiting and pretty much did they best to ignore us until we insisted they sort the issue. The main hotel areas were fine but the corridors were poorly lit, probably to hide the poor and dingy condition. The hotel was fine but also not 5 star condition, wallpaper was peeling, stains on the curtains, finger marks around the mirror. The room was apparently pool view but the glimpse of the pool we could see was actually the pool of the neighbouring hotel. The one plus is the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was really poor. It was tasteless and the pastries were rock hard. The pool itself was really nice and seemed clean but the surrounding area was a complete mess. Chairs and loungers just strewn around, all were really dirty too. I would not stay again and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone.

This is no way a 5 star hotel- the service is actually shocking. Staff have knowledge of what is actually going on in the hotel in terms of what is and isn’t available to clients. I requested to speak to management, and given a whole speech and free coffee to make up for a horrible experience!

The hotel looks nice we were bothered by two factors: 1- zero privilege as gold members. They refused to give an upgrade even though the hotels was not full. The service was too slow. We kept waiting for almost 2 hours to get pool towels and every time we requested one they sounded very rude and indifferent. 2- we were assigned a room where we had 3 RF antennas . As experts in the field we know that was not safe at all and extremely harmful.

No perks for Gold members, disappointing..

My second time in the Russelior Hotel; Things that did not change : - Food quality, always good. - Rooms, they are good. Things that did change : - Garden is not well maintained as it used to be. Grass is not as green as it used to be and trees are not maintained as they used to be few years ago. - Hotel partly transformed to a retirement and nursing home hosting Seniors with or without medical assistance. Every Senior person is actually assisted by a nurse. I've seen the same for El Hambra and Saphir Palace, all in the same region. - The cold welcoming and NO perks despite being a Hotels.com Gold member and the hotel being almost empty (I've kindly asked for the upgrade when booking). I'm not going back to this property.

I chose this property because it was popular and close to my in-laws. Everyone gives it raving reviews, so I booked my reservation months ago. I was also told by former employees that this place used to be Better and it is now way different from how it used to be before. I’ve had minor issues leading up to the actual day of staying at the hotel but that did not matter because I already made up my mind to stay there however, I did not enjoy my stay for the most part. The rooms are not soundproof, every night I heard a couple being intimate that was annoying. Also, people coughing and using the bathroom.. The phones in the room do not work, nor does the balcony light. TV remote did not work, nor the button to the TV,. Breakfast is repetitive and limited. My room seen better days, I feel it was very dirty in my opinion. For the hotel to be luxury, for me, it did not feel like it. I wanted to ask the front desk can I change my room on the first day that I got there but they seemed unapproachable like you may be bothering them, so me not want to be that person who complains, I just spent my nights sleeping there sometimes and the rest of the time with my in-laws because it is what it is. I wouldn’t suggest this hotel to a friend who staying in Hammamet. But again this is just my experience. Maybe somebody else will have a better room that’s more clean and doesn’t it feel cramped and stuffy. I was there for nine nights.

Nous avons payés pour un all inclusive, nous nous sommes fait arnaqué par l’hôtel ainsi que la plate-forme hôtel.com. Pour rajouté le all inclusive qu’on avait payé ils nous on demander 480€ en plus ! De plus, j’ai expliqué mon mécontentement, l’homme a l’accueil m’a indiqué que pour cette mésaventure il allait nous up grade de chambre avec vue sur mer (tout à été dit à l’oral). Surprise ! Vu sur le parking ! Quand j’ai parlé avec leur responsable elle a osé me dire « ah oui, il n’y a plus de chambre avec vu sur mer je lui ai dit que c’était pas possible » or une promesse nous a été faite et non tenu encore une fois. Je suis choquée d’un tel comportement vis à vis des clients car tout le monde se renvoie la balle, l’hôtel dit qu’il peuvent rien faire et hôtel.com nn plus. De plus, je ne parle pas de la mauvaise hygiène de l’hôtel et de l’insalubrité. Les mûres était moisis (vu que nous étions dans les chambres du fond) les rideaux des couloirs degeulasse et j’en passe, à fuir ..

Très TRÈS déçue de cet hôtel, nous n’avions vu que des bons avis et quelle surprise (mauvaise) à notre arrivé Bâtiment mal entretenu, hygiène à revoir (salle de bain pas propre, fiante d’oiseaux sur les balcons, taches sur les mobiliers et les moquettes) papier peint qui se décolle un peu partout, Que dire de la piscine, les gens laissent tout traîner autour et le personnel ne ramasse pas régulièrement (couche d’enfant laissé par terre, nourriture, verres partout) les tables ne sont jamais nettoyées bref horrible Pas du tout digne d’un 5 étoiles et surtout pour ce tarif Nous avons demandé à être remboursé pour aller ailleurs, l’hôtel a refusé malgré les très nombreuses photos que nous leur avons montré Ils nous ont finalement « surclassés » dans une suite, ce n’était pas mieux à part la chambre un peu plus grande mais sinon niveau hygiène c’est exactement pareil HOTEL A FUIR

Un faux 5 étoiles — hôtel à fuir ! Expérience catastrophique et très loin des standards d’un véritable hôtel 5 étoiles. Les photos et la publicité sont trompeuses : l’établissement est vieillissant et ne mérite absolument pas son classement. Les piscines sont constamment bondées, car l’hôtel vend également des forfaits d’accès à la journée. Les transats sont donc presque toujours occupés, au détriment des clients de l’hôtel. La plage se trouve à environ 10 minutes à pied et elle est très sale, comme le montrent les photos. Le petit-déjeuner est basique et surtout mauvais : jus très acides, presque aucun fruit à part des dattes et des pêches datant visiblement de la veille, ainsi que des restes de ratatouille du dîner précédent. Le dîner est lui aussi indigne d’un 5 étoiles : qualité médiocre, choix limité et hygiène douteuse, avec des mouches directement sur les présentoirs de nourriture. Une énorme déception. Cet établissement est clairement un faux 5 étoiles.

Ikke vedligeholdt som man vil forvente af hvad der fremgår som et 5 stjernet hotel. Pool var ganske fin og det bedste ved hotellet. Værelserne er rummelige men ikke 4-5 stjerner værdigt. Absolut ikke. Køkken/restaurant under alle forventninger. Morgenmadsbuffet er begrænset og kvaliteten er lav. Alt for få langsom betjening og servicering. Grosse déception – Pratiques malhonnêtes et prestations loin d'un 5 étoiles Méfiez-vous impérativement lors du check-in et vérifiez immédiatement si la chambre attribuée correspond bien à la promesse de la réception. Nous en avons fait les frais. Arnaque sur la chambre "Triple" : Nous avons payé un supplément pour notre fils de 4 ans afin d'avoir une vraie chambre triple. En réalité, ils ont simplement entassé un lit simple dans une chambre double standard. Suite à l'ajout de ce lit, le balcon et les rideaux étaient condamnés (impossible d'y accéder). Pire encore, on ne pouvait sortir du lit parental que d'un seul côté. Mauvaise foi de la direction : Face à ma réclamation, la réception a nié en bloc en affirmant de manière absurde que "ce sont les standards de l'hôtel pour une chambre triple". Infrastructures : L'hôtel est vieillissant et aurait grand besoin d'une rénovation majeure. Restauration : Le petit-déjeuner est d'une grande médiocrité, très loin des standards attendus. Service : Le personnel fait ce qu'il peut avec les moyens du bord, mais cela ne suffit pas.
