We were looking for a quiet place with a private beach and we found exactly that. Pros:- Beautiful place, big villas with good working AC (a little noisy) -friendly attentive staff, welcoming drink - private pool by every villa in addition to the larger pool by the restaurant -great breakfast (though not too many choices for vegetarians) Cons: - beach needs a better cleaning, a lot of cigarette butts and little plastic trash - better maintenance needed for private pools and villas (for instance our pool had only one working lamp out of four) -would be nice to have a kitchen that you can actually use plus some dishes/utensils, etc. - laundry was not available despite the description in the website Generally we loved our stay and would love to come back.

This hotel is in a superb location, away from the bustle of the city with it's own spotlessly clean private beach. As others have said, the villas are slightly dated and a little odd (with kitchen that you can't cook in). Staff are generally pretty good. I was sick for duration of my stay, so didn't really try much of the food.

The resort is small in size (20-odd villas). Each villa is spacious and has it's private pool, kitchen (sparsely equipped) and bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The whole resort can benefit from a spruce up. Overall we booked this as a shirt r&r in the mid of our Cambodia/Vietnam tour and it allowed us to get that.

Beach at Son Tra is incredible! However the property is very old and dated, but there is tons of space per villa. Private pools are a nice amenity in theory but nothing surrounds them so it seems quite sparse and we did not use ours. Breakfast buffet was poor for choice and not replenished. Would recommend if you want to enjoy the private beach as this is the only selling point. Son Tra needs a renovation.

Great location but needs a touch up.

This location is truly amazing. Right on the beach with view over Da Nang and surroundings. However, the hotel isn’t in its best shape. Pool isn’t as clean as you want it to be and tiles are loose. Lights in and outdoors at broken and not fixed to mention a few. The staff I really friendly and for the price it is still a good option unless you need a Hilton standard for your stay.
