Stunning building, rooms a bit tired and dated but beds comfy and everything clean. Bathroom basic. For the price breakfast was good and great to have access to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna at anytime with free towels. Overall not the fanciest, most boutique place to stay (apart from the outside of the main building) but good value for the price and staff all very friendly. Grounds beautiful too. Didn't have dinner but friends did and they said food very good. Bar area also very nice.

Our room was spacious & comfortable, we had a family room which was the less expensive room!! Two huge beds & plenty of space around too. Kayden was excellent in the restaurant too. However the hotel is extremely poorly ran. Not the staffs fault. Not enough trained staff for a stunning hotel. Lunch took over an hour, the bar was chaos due to golfers arriving back, guests & hotel guests for early evening drinks & not enough staff!!! The breakfast was nice but lacking of pastries & coffee machine outdated. We had family join us for coffee & teas but again lukewarm & not what you expect. We arrive to hotels for the whole experience & sadly it’s tidious to have to wait & then to complain that drinks are not hot enough we couldn’t be moaning about another thing as the staff up against bad management.

Our Large Room was lovely and clean. The staff were very pleasant and tried to help wherever possible. The facilities were very good. Swimming pool was ideal and loved that children were welcome. Easy to find with Plenty of parking. We had breakfast including with our room and it was a lovely spread of food for everyone, no problem if you wanted eggs done a different way . You just asked a member of staff and they were always willing to help. Will definitely return .

Spa facilities needs an update, would be great to see a walking path for non-golfer guests to enjoy the grounds, also brasserie has very low rating 2.5/5 , room service is well so expensive, margarita pizza is £18.00 + £5 room service charge. Rest is fantastic, good location, great grounds, enough to eat and drink
