Lee Vining Motel is now under new management, there was no one at the premises when I was there, they have a contact-less entry, meaning there is an envelope with your name on it inside is a key and instructions for Wifi and turning in your key when your stay is completed. Even though the room I was in was recently refurbished (room #1) the walls are still very thin, the placement of the outlets were a bit awkward, the microwave was not plugged in I had to move it closer to an outlet and unplug something else to be able to use it. Otherwise the room was cute, and the bed and pillows were comfy, the shower was OK, this room would not be considered accessible as there is a step up into the bathroom.

Spent 5 days here exploring the area. Bathroom seems like is was recently redone and was nice and clean. Portable air conditioning unit kept the room comfortable when it was 95 degrees outside. Some past reviews complained about "road noise". The motel sits directly next to US395 (as does the other 3 or 4 motels in town), but I didn't find road noise to be a major problem. Very nice place. It would be my first choice if I'm ever back through the area.

Clean, comfortable room. Great location close to Yosemite east entrance. Market a block away with good breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Room had a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, coffee maker. Only negative- we were in Room 1 which is a little small and is right on the road. We heard trucks all night. there is a large window that needs black out curtains. So it got very bright very early. I'm sure the other rooms are better! And the price was great for the location. I would stay here again.

This hotel is in a wonderful location, close to Yosemite and Mono Lake. The property looks well taken care of. Comfy bed and very soft and fluffy towels. Only problem was it is on a main highway and there was a lot of traffic and truck noise all night.

It is a small roadside motel in a small mountain community, set your expectations accordingly. I stayed 5 nights, it was clean, convenient, and I slept comfortably. I used it as a home base for photography and sightseeing. No issues. Would stay there again!

Cute motel. Very clean. The road and guests next door can easily be heard. Parking is a problem. Not the hotels fault but bring your own food, nothing in the area after 8pm and motel room doesn’t have a fridge.

The room was tidy, spacious, comfortable bed. The bathroom was also specious. It had however a faint odor of urine which suggests cleaning around the toilet was insufficient. Water pressure in shower was weak but of course it had a water saving fixture and it’s understandable. There was a ceiling fan over the bed but the variable switch did not operate properly so it was either full speed or off. There was a floor standing A/C unit which provided much needed very nice cold air. However it was noisy and kept us awake.between the A/C and the rapidly spinning fan we kept cool but barely slept through the noise. The place had been freshly painted and clearly effort was made to make it pleasant; E for effort. But at $200 a night; it is an unqualified NO. My compliments to the photographer……

There was a dead spider on my bed. There’s also no cell phone service at all in this town. They have WiFi. Everything closes at 8pm or earlier. Easy room access. Check in and check out were very easy. Room was clean for the most part and beds were somewhat comfortable.
