Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made a great impression. The bathroom was very clean, but the bathtub was quite tall, making it a little difficult to get in and out. Also, my husband is 6’2”, and the shower head was mounted too low for him to shower comfortably. The hotel does not have air conditioning, but they provide a floor fan in the room. We found that the fan kept the room comfortable, even without A/C. One downside was that the elevator was extremely slow, so be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent customer service, and we’d consider staying here again.

My wife and I enjoyed a three day stay 17th - 20th May. We stayed in a twin room (148) on the first floor. The room was very clean and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. We stayed on a B&B basis, but we also ate in the bar in the evenings. The breakfast was a buffet affair, but the food was fresh and very tasty. The bar menu in the evenings was the same each night with a limited selection, but again the food was very tasty and reasonable. The staff in all areas were attentive and very friendly. We had 1 issue with a leaking electric kettle, but when we reported it, it was replaced within the hour.

This was our first time staying at the Villa Rose, and we couldnt have pick a better hotel, the staff were fantastic, the room, 273, was immaculate, spacious and the bed very very comfortable. We ate at the Forge bar on Saturday evening, and again, the restaurant staff were brilliant, the food plentiful, and the atmosphere warm.

Had a lovely weekend here, the room was just ok, needed a bit of attention in places, safe didnt work, sink badly cracked and constant clicking noise coming from somewhere. What made the weekend was the staff from the lovely Sinead in housekeeping and the fantastic staff in Forges bar where the food was absolutely superb, do good we ate here both nights.

We have stayed at the villa rose and Jackson’s multiple times. We got at least 6-7 times per year. Staff are always warm welcoming and go out of their way to make sure we have a great stay. The rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean. The food in the forge bar is excellent both for adults and kids. Our kids love the pool in Jackson’s and I love the spa in the v spa which is in the villa rose. The treatments I have received there are second to none I have had spa treatments all over the world and would definitely rate the v spa in the top 3. We can not wait until our next stay. ❤️
