Awesome cottage, very quaint and cozy, many amenities you don’t get with a hotel like full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, stockpile of dishes and cookware for whatever you’re cooking. Beautiful view of the Sea/Ocean from front yard. Cottage is very close to the Sea but not a waterfront property- you have to walk or drive down to it. Very nice stay for me and my mom - we really enjoyed the property.

Die Lage mit Blick auf die Coolmainbay ist super, die Landschaft herum traumhaft. Das Grundstück ist gärtnerisch gut gepflegt und einladend. Das Häuschen und alle Nebengebäude haben den Charme vergangener Zeiten und auch die Inneneinrichtung des Wohnhauses hat Museumscharakter. Einige der alten Elektroinstallationen funktionieren nicht mehr (Tischlampen im Wohnzimmer, Elektrowandheizkörper). Der ältere Geschirrspüler hat nur bei 60° zufriedenstellend gereinigt. Den aufgeführten Wäschetrockner gab es nicht. Die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit scheint aber ein generelles Problem zu sein. Es gibt schimmlige Stellen besonders im Bad; im Schlafzimmer riecht es etwas muffig. Der Raumluftentfeuchter (ohne Bedienungsanleitung) half zwar etwas, macht aber Krach. Insgesamt hat sich sehr viel verstaubtes Kleinmaterial in und auf Schränken, Regalen und anderen Ablageflächen angesammelt. Auch Spinnen waren zahlreich. Um das Cottage empfehlen zu können, müsste es unbedingt mal gründlich entrümpelt und professionell gereinigt werden.
