Everything from start to finish was outstanding. Our flight was delayed by 6 hours and we arrived in the middle of the night. The shuttle was there to pick us up! The hotel was very close to the airport and we didn’t miss a beat with our plans. Breakfast was perfect with fresh fruit, muffins, cereal, toast and coffee. The pool was lovely and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend Tradewinds!

We liked that the hotel offered rental cars. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The location was convenient to the airport. I was happy that the airport shuttle was waiting for us when we got out of the airport. On the negative side, the hallway smelled musty. Wi-Fi was an extra fee. The toilet was badly stained, the mattress was vey soft, almost like a hammock, the shower pressure was poor, the bar soap was unusable it was like a stone and would not lather so we used the shampoo. The staff at the front desk were unfriendly and unhelpful. It was like they were doing us a favor to check us in or give us the wi-fi password. The breakfast buffet was marginal to poor, very few selections so don’t put any value on the free buffet breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and the omelets to order were great. Perhaps by American Samoa standards this is a nice place but don’t go with high expectations. On a positive note, the location is very convenient to the new LDS Temple which is beautiful and definitely worth visiting, even just to see the outside. It is also close to KS Mart which is a wonderful grocery and everything else store including many items from Costco if you are looking for bulk. The staff there is wonderful as are the packaged salads and sandwiches.

House cleaning staff was great, very accommodating however at times we would get only 1 washcloth because laundry was still being done. We had to ask a few times for an extra wash cloth because we only got one. Water pressure was not good at all. We were on 3rd floor and kept asking to move to first floor but kept getting told that we couldn’t move. We asked them to check the water pressure they came up twice but it didn’t get any better.
