I stayed alone and found my room spacious and comfortable enough, but the air conditioning did not work properly. While it was manageable for just me, it would definitely get too warm for two people.
Overall, this felt more like a 3-star property than a 4-star hotel. The building feels quite dated, the decor looks cheap, and it lacked the cozy, welcoming atmosphere I expected. The online photos feel misleading, many seem to be stock images from other hotels in the LifeClass chain rather than this specific property. The pool area was also a letdown.
On a positive note, the gym is fine; even though the equipment is a bit older, it has everything you need. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special, and I chose to eat dinner elsewhere.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here, partly because it failed to meet expectations, but also because I didn't care for Portorož itself. I spent most of my time visiting nearby Piran instead, which offers a much nicer vibe.
