We traveled with kids age 9 and 10. We were so impressed by the cleanliness, the amenities, and the helpfulness of all staff including the security guys that monitor traffic on the property. Our pool was maintained and clean. The food at Namu was incredible. The breakfast at the kitchen table every morning was superb. Again the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The sweetest thing was the sweet spots scattered through out the property for a fun ice cream treat and cold water. Thank you W Koh Samui for making our vacation an unforgettable one!!

This is now the fourth W hotel I’ve stayed at. Summary: As a whole, our entire stay felt inconsistent and subpar to a normal W stay. The cost cuts are quite evident in multiple aspects of the stay, and guests should never feel like they are overpaying because management is trying to optimize revenue. The reception team tried hard to make up for many misses and apologize when things didn’t go as planned. But when you have 4-5 hiccups in one weekly stay, it’s hard to look back and think it was a flawless stay. That said, some staff are clear stars, like our host Khun Mary who was brilliant at check in and check out. Also, Khun Noi from the breakfast team also deserves praise. Her smile and warmth made our mornings extra brighter each morning service. Serious areas needing attention are the overall food program (reused fruit and protein), and the lack of staff in areas that need it more, such as the main pool. Finally, staff made several attempts to apologize for all the issues. A plate of fruit the next day for the Ac blowing out one night, and a beautiful turndown service on our last night after the 2nd failed massage. So at least they did try hard to redeem themselves when something went awry which was truly appreciated. As beautiful as the location is, we would not stay at the W Koh Samui again. In fact, we would likely be inclined to recommending friends and family to spend a little more and stay at the Four Seasons for a truly exceptional stay.

Great view of the beach, great BF selection and nice private pool villa. We had inclusive package of cocktails, spa, and float me up! However, was a bit disappointed with the reception as our hostess Ammie just left us at the hot not air conditioned lobby without giving us a word on how long we have to wait! She wasn’t informative about the hotel activities. We stayed at a jungle view villa:The tub tap water was yellow with sand, which wasn’t cleaned the next day! This is not acceptable for five star W resorts! This not our first W stay. Too bad for the little details not cared for~ .

It was my second time staying at W Koh Samui since my honeymoon 10 years back - this time, with my daughter as well. Staffs were super fantastic and supportive and overall quality of facilities was also great. I would absolutely stay again when I visit Koh Samui in near future. Fantastic resort with a great beach

Stayed at this hotel for few nights as a family of 4 in 2 rooms and really enjoyed it. Each room has its own pool which is wonderful, the beach is very exclusive and you can watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand. Breakfast was superb and staff very friendly. Only issue we found was the limited choices of restaurant since they are a bit short staffed, and the only restaurant available for the evening was rather pricey, but on the flip side it “forced” us to explore restaurants outside the resort

W’s airport transfer sent us to a wrong hotel which wasted 45min of our valuable time. Then we both got food poisoning at Nomu restaurant. We ended spent entire vacation in our room. This is a big disappointment as we looked forward to this Wedding Anniversary celebration. W Samui got a lot of work to do regarding the basic stuff like food and beverage and services.
