First of all, the check-in agent was super nice. And the little playground was shady and cute and had a merry-go-round. So there is that.
We chose this property because it had a room with 3 queen beds and would sleep 6, and the reviews said it had been recently renovated. I have to assume we didn't get one of the renovated rooms. When we arrived, everything, and I mean everything, was unplugged: bed lights, TVs, even the full-size fridge (rendering it useless for an overnight stay, as it wouldn't cool down in time. The fridge also smelled).
We found a couple of bugs in the room: small beetles, not bedbugs or roaches, but still. The sheets seemed new and clean, and the room had recently been painted. But the bedspreads were stained (or dirty) and the door looked like someone had tried to kick it in.
All in all, it didn't quite look like the pictures or live up to the reviews. But maybe we just got one of the last rooms to be updated?
