This is an older historic hotel in a less touristy part of Jutland. The halls in particular show age and smell musty. On the other hand our room smelled fine. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had been updated. The breakfast was complete and tasty with a number of options. Overall the Hotel Phønix is a good choice for Hjørring. We would stay there again.
