The hotel was nice but definitely needs a bit of TLC. Room was great size with great view, we had a phone call on day of arrival to say they had a sea view room available as we were booked in on a ground floor room. Overall I would stay again, but if updates were made. Mattresses and bedding was great and comfy but there were not enough slats on bed so mattress felt like it was going through the gaps.

Nye of celebrations with friends Quick & efficient booking in.. No lifts at property Dragged all luggage up stairs with great difficulty. Room was basic & desperately needs refurbishment. Beds comfortable which is bonus Extension lead for charging/use hairdryer ect No table to put belongings on so everything was on the floor . But geat location into town. 5/10 hotel.

The pictures of the hotel advertised are nothing like the reality of the hotel. I booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children and I was given the top floor which consisted of 1 room with a large bed and another room with 2 single beds which meant we had to sleep separately. The rooms themselves were very run down, are in desperate need of a proper clean and paint and the curtains didn't even fit the windows.... The staff however were very lovely and accommodating so I can't fault them

Three stars only because the staff were extremely friendly and I had a sea view. The areas needing improvement are: mattress very uncomfortable, bathroom door doesn't close as no lock, room too tight, water in shower too little. Breakfast was okay but more options needed. Location was excellent. Some good points and some not so good. Worst part for me was mattress gave me a bad back, best part for me was sea view, location and very friendly staff.

Clean and simple solo room, no fuss and ideal for what was needed for a single night stay. Bed was a bit creaky but comfortable none the less! I didn't have breakfast. The only minor headache was nobody being around initially when I went to check in abour 8.30pm, and phone signal wasn't good to get hold of anyone. My fault for not reading the booking instructions and contacting the hotel in advance for a slightly later check in time. Somebody came after a short while but clearly they had a bit of a trek from where the bell rang!

Worst stay which i will report to concerned Agency and hotels com, Even though i told i was arriving late and guy confirmed he will be at property to open door, no one let b me entered the property, luckily some other first allowed the every, Room and hotel is shabke, not all mattress were proper, broken matterss , broken chester drawer, smelly and mouldy room and bathroom, had to stay as at that hour no other option, there was no showers in morning as bathroom is broken, and hotel guy just have to say sorry, this hotel should be shut down and shouldn't be listed due to safety and hygene issues.

Manor hotel stay

Room was not the cleanest especially bathroom. Alot of ants near windows and there were flies everywhere. A number of lights also out. Beds were comfy and no noise disruption

I liked the location on the prom, friendly welcome, bathroom & shower were very clean. Good value for money & easy to find. TV worked well & bed was comfy. It was fine for a solo traveller and the beach was about 30 metres from the hotel.

War was described and wat we got was so far off the mark ,i booked a double supervisor room wat we got was below stardard and what we paid,,the curtains poles rusty, curtain stained,the bed was so uncomfortable hardy slept for two nights we stayed, the tv was to low on wall u could see half tv because front bed board stoping the view of tv,the furniture was damage marked ,there was no fire instructions on room door, and had go out for breakfast because they only served continental breakfast, if i new how this stay was going turn out like this wouldn't of book at this hotel,would like refund of wat i paid

Booked last minute, great bay view included in deluxe room, decor in bathroom a little jaded but great to have a bath and see the prom and pier lights, comfy bed and cleaned well. Bedframe and furniture is old/antique. Curtains needed better fittings but did the job. Breakfast...basic buffet style, no cooked option though. All staff were friendly, some late night chatter from reception but quiet by 11pm.

Sadly won’t stay again

The single member of staff I interacted with was friendly and obliging. There was no bath plug when we arrived late on our first night. However, there was no hot water that came through the bath tap or the sink tap. Only hot water through the electric shower. Travelling solo with 2 small children made it difficult to raise any issues. I attempted to ring the hotel from our day out the following day but it said the number was no longer in use. It was a busy and short trip for us but it would have been nice to have had hot water out of the taps. The room on the whole was dated but clean. And as I said the lady that I did have brief interactions with was kind and helpful.
