A beautiful place to stay, including the room, the common areas, and the surroundings. The staff went above and beyond when I arrived with an overly heavy suitcase and drove me down the gravel path to my room. I hope to return for a longer stay in the future. Something I didnt learn from the hotels.com site that would be important to some folks is that the rooms are in separate buildings from reception and the restaurant, with gravel paths between the buildings and some of them down a good bit of a hill.

Supermysigt boende i ett fantastiskt fint område. Vi hade ett charmigt och fint inrett rum högst upp i ett av de äldre husen, vilket gav en väldigt ombonad och personlig känsla. Huset låg en bit från huvudbyggnaden, men promenaden dit genom området var bara trevlig. Frukosten var också mycket bra, med bra kvalitet och gott om valmöjligheter. Frukostmatsalen var trevlig, även om den var ganska liten. Ett väldigt charmigt och mysigt boende som vi gärna skulle återvända till.

Trevlig och avkopplande vistelse i vackra omgivningar. Förtjusande trädgård nära Mälaren med lättillgängliga promenadstråk och konst. Hotellrummet var vackert dekorerat i slottstema med standard-bekvämligheter att tillgå. Smaksak om man föredrar stort dubbeltäcke istället för två singel-täcken. Saknade en liten välkomstgåva på rummet och hade önskat att kaffe fanns att tillgå (avgiftsfritt). Frukosten var enastående och höjde helhetsintrycket. Brett utbud av hemlagat och stor variation på läckerheter. På det stora hela nöjd och skulle rekommendera vistelsen.

Härlig miljö. Härliga rum. Men... middagen. :-(

Görväln levererar på miljön. Omgivningarna är fina... rummen med de närmast mytiska sängarna är alltid bra. Bemötandet i receptionen är glatt och trevligt. Dessvärre måste det sägas (igen): Restaurangens middagsservering håller inte vad svansföring online och prissättning lovar. Själva maten är ojämn. Personalen var – åtminstone den kvinnliga servitrisen – trevlig. T o m sprudlande trevlig. Men presentationer existerade inte. Allt levereras mekaniskt (vi åt den 'fasta' menyn). Vinkunskapen var inte märkbar. En inlagd gurka (tror jag) mördade torsken, som saknade spänst. Det är inte dyrt att få en fyrarätters för 825:- Men det är ett högt pris för vad Galleriet på Görväln levererar. Restaurangen har varit ställets akilleshäl i åratal och jag hade verkligen gillat att bli överraskad. Damen som serverade ingav hopp (hon var fenomenalt glad). Men... eftersom några alternativ inte existerar på Görväln så MÅSTE middagen vara bättre. Frukosten var bra. Ordinär. Kändes något snål jämfört med tidigare besök, men där och då lämnade man matsalen som en nöjd gäst. Middagen är alltjämt det område där Görväln har förbättringspotential. Please, do better. Det skulle göra skillnad.
