As soon as we checked in, there were signs of dampness throughout the flat, which unfortunately began to affect my husband's health as he is asthmatic and he started coughing straight away. It does not help that the flat is on the ground floor and there was quite a bit of dust on the street. Despite raising these concerns with the management, they refused to offer any refund or compensation, leaving us no choice but to find alternative accommodation at our own expense. We went back and forth with them to find a solution and the lady we spoke to was helpful and offered another flat not too far but we had to pay 50 euros a night more and then find another accommodation for the final night.
Not only did we incur unexpected additional costs, but the entire ordeal made our stay in Florence far more stressful than it should have been. A property in such poor condition should not be advertised for rent, and we will definitely not be staying with them again.
