One of my favorite places to stay while in Littleton. Smack in the center of Main St., so very convenient for hitting the shops and restaurants. The staff has also been top notch, helpful and accommodating.

Historic hotel right on main street - second floor has a balcony overlooking the street. You can walk the entire downtown area easily from the hotel, a nice reprieve after a long day driving. Being historic - the wooden floors aren't always level and the bathrooms were retrofitted in and can be small. Parking behind the hotel was simple, free, and easy.

Staying here was a unique experience because the hotel is full of historic charm and character. The rooms were quirky but clean, and the window air conditioners kept them comfortably cool even on hot days. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite with a shared bathroom between the rooms, which worked well for us. The only downside was the clawfoot bathtub, which made showering a bit challenging. The location was excellent—right on the main street with plenty of restaurants and charming shops just steps away. That said, if you have mobility concerns, you may want to consider a more modern hotel, as there is no elevator and the parking area is a short walk downhill from the property.

Honestly The town is in poor condition and very rundown. The hotel is historically interesting but needs major renovations. Interesting shops . Would I make a special trip there ? No. Beautiful untouched countryside and mountains. You really have to use your imagination if you want to see a Pollyanna town . Good movie !
