I really wish I could give this place a great rating, but they’re banking on the fact that they have a great view. The rooms were highly outdated; old carpet, old paint, old showers, mold on the wall, old thermostats. For the amount of money that you pay for the room, it’s not worth it. The thermostats had to be over 50 years old. You cannot even read the numbers. The carpet look like it was from the 80s and it had stains. The door looked like it had not been maintained in over 30 years. The bathroom look like it had the cheapest faucets and shower available on the market. The only thing that was modern was a television.

This hotel is way overpriced. Ocean view, yes. Clean room, yes. But pay over $500 per night and get plastic drinking cups? Sheesh!!The staff (that I interacted with) was not very helpful. There is a weird vibe here where every restaurant and the Mansion is owned by someone different. Again, way overpriced. This place is in need of competition so that they can up their game. Never again.

The waterfront location was very nice and peaceful, however, room updates would make this venue more desirable. When booking, we were under the impression this was a part of the Moran Mansion property (which at one time it may have been, but not anymore). The mansion is now closed and owned by a new owner who is renovating. The booking site was somewhat unclear on some details, but staff were kind and helpful.

We stayed in a deluxe suite, it was obviously recently done and looked immaculate, including linens and towels; the suite had 2 balconies with view over the bay. On the negative side there were no restaurants open in Rosario but Eastsound is a less than a 10 minute drive and there were several there. Very close to Moran Nationalpark, plenty of hiking and scenery; the Moran mansion however is closed.

We had a nice stay at the hotel even though everything was closed. We knew that when booking though. The property as a whole needs renovating (hence closed), but the location on a peninsula was great with great views. You can see the potential of the property. And the grounds are pretty well maintained. You can walk around the grounds from the harbor to the other side/other bay. We saw an otter, harbor seal, sea stars, and eagles. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, but the carpet definitely needs replacing. We would stay there again if cost was still reasonable. I would choose an oceanfront room though, to get a full view of the bay. The staff were great and were very responsive to our needs.

Nice enough property. Email that told us exactly where to find our room was misleading, giving the address as 1800 Rosario Road. The actual address of the room was 2300 Rosario Road. We drove around quite a bit looking for 1800. Google Maps put us between 1600 and 1900 but 1800 was not found. Hostess at the nearby restaurant pointed out where to go to talk to someone onsite who could direct us to our room (the building markings were not explicit that we would find someone there to help us; we had driven it past several times). He was cordial but gave me the impression, after I showed him the email from the property, that he thought I should have known based on the room number which started with 23. We enjoyed the water view from our deck.

The Rosario Resort seems to have fallen on hard times. While we liked the seaside setting and the cute little boat marina, the rest of the facilities looked abandoned or neglected. The two-story building we stayed in was well maintained, but we hardly saw anyone (other guests or staff) during our 2 night stay. We also discovered that the museum and restaurant are closed for renovations. Again, nothing unpleasant if you like secluded places but the whole thing had kind of weird vibe.

Nestled in a quiet cove (this was after Labor Day). The rooms are very spacious. The main building was closed ( restaurant, spa, etc) for renovation, so we did not have the full experience. The guys at the grill were fully and made a very tasty guacamole.

All around it was a good visit, it was a unique place to stay.The the rooms were clean , but the remote front desk was a little different than what we were used to. The staff on site were kind and prompt although we had to use a translator to communicate. My wife and I genuinely loved it. The place Is rustic, and it has a historic antiquated vibe to it. We really can't wait to come back when the restorations have been completed. Overall, the mansion is at the very least a must stop for its historic value and natural beauty. Definitely an economic place to stay If you're on a budget visiting in the offseason. P.s. my wife would like to mention thst orca sightings from the property are possible because we were blessed with our own personal pod of three orcas, a little family, getting ready for their migration. Happy travels.

The restaurant and store were very disappointing. Our TV did not work and fellow who tried to help spoke no English and was unable to fix it. View and grounds were lovely. Room was clean and well supplied.
