Seaview, yes. Serenity, absolutely not.
The apartment itself was fine. Unfortunately, the owner was renovating his apartment next door, complete with deafening jackhammering. No advance warning, no consideration for his guests, and little interest in our complaints. Only after we contacted Expedia did the loudest noise finally stop.
Construction happens. But renting an apartment to unsuspecting guests while carrying out major renovations next door, without warning them, is a choice.
The apartment was perfectly acceptable. The owner’s conduct was not. Book elsewhere.
