Ilmeisesti majoitustila oli entinen vanhainkoti? Huone kolkko ja vailla mitään mukavuuksia. Ei tv:tä, ei pöytää. Huoneessa oli liian kuuma. Suihkussa ei muuta, kuin jotain saippuaa, jolla ei saanut hiuksia pestyä. Aamupala oli ihana ja se hieman lievensi pettymystä majoitukseen.

Pienissä häissä.

Paikka oli tuttu entuudestaan, mutta koskaan aikaisemmin emme olleet yöpyneet. Tietoja majoituksesta tipahteli tekstiviestillä ja Hotels.com sovellukseen. Viestintä oli, ehkä hieman sekavaa. Lopulliset avainkoodit tulivat sähköpostilla vasta noin klo 16:00. Sain ne kuitenkin kysymällä siistijältä ennen tätä. Saavuimme majoitukseen noin puoliltaöin. Päärakennuksessa oli menossa riehakkaat Juhlat. Oikean huoneiston löytäminen pilkkopimeässä ja vesisateessa oli melkoisen haastavaa. Huone oli siisti, ikkuna oli saapuessa auki, joten huoneessa oli melkoisen kylmä. Sänky oli miellyttävä, mutta aamulla herätessäni lakana oli valunut lattialle ja pussilakana pois peiton päältä. Liekö vika nukkujassa? Poikkilakanan käyttö saattaisi auttaa asiaa..Ottaen huomioon maailman tilanteen, turvallisuustekijänä olisin kaivannut huoneeseen televisiota tai radiota. Iso plussa huoneeseen tuodusta aamiaisesta! Se oli runsas ja maittava! Tuntui ihanalta syödä aamiainen kaikessa rauhassa ilman kiirettä. Kiitos!

Miellyttävä välipysähdys Leviltä Lahteen

Yöpyminen sujui kaiken kaikkiaan oikein mainiosti. Sisäänkirjautuminen vaati vähän tavaamista, jotta saatoin olla varma, että meille on huone varattuna. Huone oli pienehkö mutta toimiva yhden yön tarkoitukseen. Olisi ollut kiva, että Hotels.com sivuilla olisi ollut maininta siitä, että koirasta menee lisämaksu. Henkilökunta oli oikein ystävällistä ja huoneeseen tarjoiltu aamiainen tosi hyvä alku päivälle. Saunan puuttuminen vähän harmitti, kun se on kuitenkin mainoskuvissa ensimmäisenä ja sai ainakin minut uskomaan, että se kuuluu huoneen hintaan tai on käytössä majoittujille.

Retkeilymaja vai Resort?

+3 hengen huone oli tilava +ilmainen pysäköinti +siistit tilat +aamiainen oli maittava -huoneessamme ei ollut tv:tä. Rakennuksessa oli vain yksi "yleistila" jossa oli yksi tv. Ei ole toimiva ratkaisu, jos majoitusta markkinoidaan hotellina -huoneessamme oli outo haju, vähän kuin vanha hiki tms. Liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet olivat puhtaat joten hajun oli miltei pakko tulla sängyistä. Haju ei ollut miellyttävä -ei ilmastointia huoneessa, huoneessa +24C vaikka ikkuna oli auki ja ulkona +15C -asiakaskeittiöstä puuttuu liesitaso, siellä on vain mikro, jääkaappi (ei pakastinta), kahvin- ja vedenkeitin sekä tarjoiluastiasto -uimarantaa ei ollut pihassa ja joki virtasi melko vuolaasti. Eipä siinä lapset eikä kaikki aikuisetkaan voi uida -huone oli todella askeettisesti sisustettu. Koko "resortista" tuli näkemämme perusteella mielikuva enemmänkin entisestä vanhainkodista kuin hotellista. Voimme tietenkin vain kertoa näkemästämme. Jotkut nuoristohostellit ja airbnb:t ovat huomattavasti viihtyisämpiä ja puolet halvempia. Odotimme hotellia, saimme retkeilymajan.
