8/10 Very good

I stayed one night between travels. The room was clean, only a bit dated. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I left before 7 so I didn't get to try to the breakfast. The hotel parking area is hidden behind the hotel, freely accessible to anyone, and it seemed to be more or less unmonitored, reception being closed from 22 to 7, so I left my car at the free city parking lot in front of the hotel (not that I'd really expect anything to happen in a quaint small town like Viljandi, but anyway).

Excellent Hotel, Walk Anywhere

Young lady at front desk is wonderful. Very professional, courteous, helpful, warm and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is great. Off the main road but definitely walking distance to everywhere. Cook was sick but they still put on a decent spread for the breakfast - kudos.

Not various things for breakfast. Overpriced
Verified review

6/10 Good

Rooms are dated and tired. Rugs are worn and reception stops working at 7pm. Breakfast in the morning is sad.

4/10 Fair

A run-down hotel. Despite the fact that there were very very very few people in the hotel, we were given a room all the way at the end of a long and dark hallway on the second floor with not much daylight. Room is functional at best. The place borders on creepy. Avoid

2/10 Poor

paid too much for this (190 a night) for that price not worth it, don’t believe you will ever access the sauna and Jacuzzi it’s basically closed all the time. It must have been great 50 years ago but you can tell they are cutting cost on everything, felt cheap instead of a 4 star hotel. Look around for better options. At 70 a night it makes more sense if you get that deal
