The little motel is so cute and the room has all one needs / microwave and fridge and a little couch and table, coffee station, a nice bedside fan with a noise-cancelling feature. I was bummed there were not many shops there as the name of the hotel alludes to. There was an adorable, Japanese-style vending machine/gachopan store, but it was moving soon. And the only other place is a bakery, which seemed alive and popular. This is stated on the website, but just to reiterate, there is no staff on site. So be sure to check your emails and texts and messages here on this app. The people who are on the other end of the line are very responsive and kind!

Check-in was confusing because there are no on-site staff. Clean room, a/c kept the room comfortable. Right next to busy road, so it could be loud at times, but a noise machine/fan was provided which helped a little. Not many amenities provided. There is a Japanese style vending machine store in the same parking lot if you want a quick drink or snack. More expensive than it’s worth imo.

A strange place in strange location. Yes, rooms are remodeled in the modern style and very clean, but it still is a very old building with no sound isolation. We had the room downstairs and when people were walking on the second floor above us, it felt like the whole room was shaking. No windows in the room (one small window in the corner by the door.). No counter space at all in the bathroom, just small sink. I also did not like that there is nobody there in person. (I understand it is money saving trick, but felt weird). The code to the room was so basic and so predictable that I was worried they do not change the codes between the guests. Hopefully I am wrong and each check-in gets a different lock code to enter the room. Finally, we reserved the room for three people . There was large king bed, and one small couch/ futon in the room. When we opened it up, there was no mattress inside. Our third person ended up sleeping on top of that narrow couch, which really should not count as a third spot for sleeping. The king bed was comfortable and linens were clean.

This was a great place to stay. Large adjacent parking lot to the room, quick and convenient access to nearby shopping and restaurants, room was spacious and the water pressure and heat of the shower was top notch. Highly recommended for travelers. Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights.

Very boutique feel to this property :) Didn’t realize when I booked it that it had no staff on site yet getting into our room was pretty stress free once I checked my email 😜 bed was very comfortable and room was very clean! Thoughtful touches like ear plugs were provided for sensitive sleepers ☺️ location was convenient for our trip !! Thank you to all staff who obviously love providing a great alternative to mainstream hotels 😘 would definitely stay here again !
