I found the hotel even better then I expected. The woman at the reception was very helpful and friendly! A real compliment for her and I found her also very professional. The thing of her was that offcourse it is a hotel but gave a feeling like I were coming there for years already. The food in the restaurant and the breakfast was as well very good so no ant complain from me. What I also found nice was that they had a good place for my bike.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Leider eines der enttäuschendsten Hotels, in denen wir in letzter Zeit übernachtet haben. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier überhaupt nicht. Für die aufgerufenen Zimmerpreise erhält man abgewohnte, deutlich in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer mit Möbeln, die offenbar seit den 1980er-Jahren nicht mehr erneuert wurden. Die Mängelliste ist lang: ein defekter Duschkopf, Reste einer alten WC-Bürste im Badezimmer, Schimmel an den Fenstern und sogar in der Dusche. Besonders unerquicklich war die Bettwäsche, die bei Ankunft nicht sauber wirkte – Haare und Flecken auf den Laken sind schlicht inakzeptabel. Auch das Restaurant konnte die schwache Gesamtleistung nicht ausgleichen. Das Essen war bestenfalls durchschnittlich und blieb weit hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Beim Personal gab es große Unterschiede. Einige Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und bemüht, andere hingegen traten in einer unangenehm herablassenden und belehrenden Art auf, wie man sie im Gastgewerbe eigentlich nicht erleben sollte. Als Gast möchte man sich willkommen fühlen und nicht bevormundet. Insgesamt hinterlässt das Hotel einen ungepflegten und überteuerten Eindruck. Die zahlreichen hygienischen und technischen Mängel sowie der teilweise fragwürdige Umgang mit Gästen machen eine Empfehlung leider unmöglich. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

　丁寧に管理された家具や部屋のしつらえは、他のホテルでは感じることはできない落ち着きがあり、リラックスできました。 駅から徒歩15分ですが、平らな石畳みと、舗装で歩きやすかったです。 　都市間の移動の一泊として、たまたま宿泊しましたが。夜の無音とホテルと街の雰囲気、不思議と惹かれます。素敵な森も近所にありました。なんでも画像で見ることのできる時代ですが。滞在してわかる価値があるホテルでした。

Hotel für ein entspanntes Wochenenden

Der Goldene Stern in Gmünd ist ein angenehmes Haus mit komfortablen Zimmern, großzügigem Bad, getrenntem WC und hervorragenden Matratzen. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Essen - auch im vegetarischen Bereich - vielfältig und äußerst schmackhaft. Es gibt einen angenehmen Gastraum, einen Gastgarten vor dem Hotel und im Innenhof. Für den Besuch des Wellnessbereiches blieb aufgrund des schönen Herbstwetters keine Zeit.
