Trevligt boende i äldre industribyggnad

Trevligt hotell. Ingen jätte frukostbuffé men är fullt godkänd för de flesta (läs, ingen stekt korv, bacon eller äggröra utan fil och mackor). Är nyrenoverat och upplevs som rent och fint. Plus med kylskåp på rummet.

Löjligt överpris…

För drygt 2000 spänn hade jag förväntat mig mer. Några detaljer; ingen duschtvål i duschen, öppen papperskorg istället för sophink med lock inne på toaletten kändes ofräscht, ingen spegel i rummet förutom lilla spegeln över handfatet, medioker frukost med billig känsla, tex pressad ”Eldorado-skinka”, extremt litet och trångt frukostrum, väldigt otydlig skyltning utanför hotellet vart det ens var, vi gick runt och letade och kände oss lite bortkomna, ingen bemanning i receptionen trots att det skulle vara det den tiden vi kom dit. Det som var bra var att hotellet var nytt och fräscht samt klimatanläggning man kunde styra själv. Fattat att hotell höjer priset när det vankas stadsfester osv, men det här var INTE värt 2000 spänn…

Fyller sin funktion.

Behöver man någonstans att sova är det perfekt. Lugnt, nära till Gavleåns kaj med alla olika typer av upplevelser. Relativt nära till city eller station. Men vill man göra mer än att sova på hotellet ska man söka sig någon annanstans.

Prisvärt

Svårt att hitta till hotellet pga alla pågående byggen i området. Har du bil, parkera i P-huset så är det enkelt att hitta. Frukost mellan 7-9 är förtidigt kunde varit till 10.30. man vill ju sova lite när det är semester. En hylla i badrummet hade varit bra. Smidigt med kodlås över allt. Bra sångare och otroligt tyst trotts att det byggs i området.

Mycket fräscht, enkelt men funktionellt. Något mjuka kuddar. Mycket bra parkeringshus inpå. Restaurang i huset som vi dock ej besökte.
