It’s a new establishment, very well maintained with excellent facilities in a quieter but upmarket part of the city . A taxi from the hotel to old city will cost you around 20-25 durhams ( £2 ) Beach front with 2 un heated swimming pool , not big but one of them is reasonable in size . Breakfast is excellent and worth every penny . We had once dinner at the international restaurant food was ok . We had steaks but it was ok . Wine was pricey , an average Moroccan wine you should expect to pay more than £40 . Daily nice music in the bar area .Service over all was excellent with a very helpful and welcoming staff . We had beach facing room at the pool level with terrace … out of the world was the view . Wi fi was fast and with excellent range . Room size was huge with very large toilets , got shower and toilet shower . Very comfortable bed . Room well lighted . Very effective fridge and good size TV . We were very impressed by the quality and care we have received . The only negative feed back was the two small bottles of drinking water you get every day ( 2 250 ml bottles ) . Shame for this luxury hotel and the lack of heated swimming pool in a province known of its regular high wind . Would be coming again ?? Definitely yes but not in winter or in the 2 edges of summer ( lack of heated swimming pool which I think it’s can be necessary )

Oyeñr recent stay was great. VERY clean and the staff were really friendly. The only thing was the restaurant prices and also, due to religious reasons, we thought that the 30 min jacuzzi were just for us but it was mixed. So we couldn't enjoy it neither the spa. I first have to say how much we enjoyed breakfast especially with Fatima and Aamina manning the msemmen and omelet station! they made the best m'semmen!!!! and of course the very charming waiter Muhammed the lovely ladies at the spa were also very welcoming each time we ventured down. The Hotel is very nice the staff are friendly and do an excellent job keeping guests happy. The location is a little outside of Tangiers centre, but is walkable into the centre of town if you have a basic fitness level. However, a taxi into town is inexpensive and easy to book through various apps. Overall the hotel is in a quiet location with enough restuarants close by. I would recommend the hotel wholeheartedly

A beautiful hotel with average to bad service.

Idou Malabata is a beautiful hotel with well decorated common areas and rooms. The breakfast was also the highlight of our trip. Unfortunately the hotel is promoting itself as prestigious and luxurious but the service doesn’t correspond the expected services in a 5 star hotel. In the three days spent there we had at least 4 incidents due to the service. With the reception, the restaurant and the spa. The hotel has big potential but needs a good manager to organise it.
