This hotel was beautiful! The architecture was so detailed. They have a beautiful out door lobby where we spent are evenings. It overlooked the mountains and futbol field that the local children would walk to after school. The room was very clean and large with antique furniture that gave a warm homey feeling. The staff was so nice and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even went out for a wine bottle opener so we could celebrate my birthday. We highly recommend

Bright light shining through my window

The woman/owner checking me in was very nice. She carried my bag downstairs to the room. The room was big, had a stove and refrigerator. And , it had a huge window with a glass that had design on it to prevent seeing through. But, at night she left the light on outside that shines through making it difficult to sleep! The bed was comfortable. There were other rooms, I wonder why she didn’t give me a room that didn’t have a bright light shining into it. When I left at 7:30 in the morning, no one was around.

Breakfast was to be included each morning. The first we waited an hour for tea, bread and a hard boiled egg. The second day there was no one in the kitchen even though they knew we were going on a day trip so we made our own breakfast (they’d said we could use the kitchen. When we returned in the evening, the kitchen was so cluttered with dirty dishes that we used the microwave in our room exclusively. The burners on the oven didn’t work, we couldn’t find a single clean cloth with which to wash up, the fridge contained food that looked expired. I let them know our toilet wasn’t flushing and 12 hours later, my husband fixed it.
