Great beautiful location. Staff attentive, but there is opportunity for more staff to ‘support’ guests, for example, take coffee orders at breakfast so guests are not queuing for the barista, or provide a service to guests when they are on the beach for drinks etc.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Modern rooms, short walk to the pool and beach. Rooms were cleaned daily, free paddle boarding, use of kayaks on the beach. We had a very lovely relaxing time. Lots of lovely beaches around to explore. Breakfast buffet amazing, lots to choose from. Would be nice to have a kettle with tea/coffee in the room. Bar food menu needs improvement. We will be coming back for sure.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Very well located hotel in an attractive setting on the coast and beach. Well appointed clean rooms. Beautifully maintained grounds. Lovely pool area and restaurant with views across the bay. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good base for exploration. Some points however to be aware of. Rooms and especially bathrooms are really small. We had an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. You could hear the conversations and snoring of the neighbours! Not sure if this is a problem in other rooms. Beach is quite dirty with seaweed and other vegetation. The hotel does its best to manage people wanting late check-outs which are rarely possible. They offer a cloakroom with single shower to use before leaving. It’s small and hot. However, they have no luggage storage room and so have piles of bags dotted around the reception, people opening them, going up and down to shower. It does not give a professional impression to people arriving. They should find a solution for a baggage store and keep all this out of sight. Also if not 100% occupancy, they should block a least desirable room as a courtesy room for showering.

The private beach and overall beachfront area was very accessible and had great facilities. The staff at reception was incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern, clean and big, so overall was great value for money. The only downside was that breakfast got chaotic when arriving past 9:00 but wasn’t too bothersome as we just got up a little earlier.

It was a great property. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The grounds were kept very nice. The only upgrade I could suggest is that they clean the beach more thoroughly from seaweed and rocks. But other than that, I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location with private beach and lovely gardens. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Short walk into the town where there are restaurants and shops. You can arrange boat trips from the hotel that picks you up in the morning from the hotels own jetty. We also enjoyed playing Padel and courts had a lovely view of the sea. You could also use paddle boards, kayaks and they had free exercise and yoga sessions outside. Walking distance to la cinta beach but you’d need a car if you wanted to explore further. We didn’t want to leave!

Good but small things let it down.

We had a really good stay but a couple of things tarnished our holiday. The check in was terrible. Being told we needed to pay, when we had already paid through Hotels.com. Reception wanted to keep our passports with no explanation. Wasn’t given any information about the hotel, meal times etc. The room was nice, but the A/C would only stay on for 10 minutes at a time. No place to get drinking water and no bottles of water provided. Room was clean, but there was no top up of any of the toiletries for a five night stay. We went out on a half day boat trip. This was good, for the price, but oversold by the rep. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and it was nice that the hotel was quiet. I think some of the issues are because it is low season and staff just getting ready for the high season. If this place was fully booked out mind, then I feel it would have been chaotic and very busy with a lot of room units in close proximity.

My 17yr old daughter and I truly enjoyed our stay at Amasea Resort. The night manager, Vinico (?), was extremely helpful, especially when it came time to find a parking space in a very crowded lot. I was unable to hang the sign on the door (to prevent daily cleaning) and couldn't easily locate the mini bar (refrigerator) - which was behind a mirror (not obvious to me at first). The private beach, swimming pool, and daily breakfast buffet were excellent. The best part is the close proximity to town center (an 8 minute walk). This is a wonderful resort and I highly recommend it!

The room was so small that we didn’t have anywhere to put our suitcases. I was traveling with my wife and we only had two bags. There was barely any room to walk around the bed and that was it. We paid over $900 for three nights and decided to leave and go to a different hotel and they wouldn’t refund any of our money.
