I stayed at the hotel between the 11-13 of July. Very hot weekend. Price of the hotel included PARKING and air conditioning.
When I arrived I found out there is only a fan with water in the room.
I was told exactly where to park by the receptionist which never bothered to let me know I need to register the parking as if I should miraculously know.
I received a penalty for the for the free parking because I did not register and was never told to do so. I’m now having to pay £170 because of the hotel’s fault and deal with debt collectors because of a weekend at Chatwal Hotel.
They also do not think they should compensate me for what they have done and believe it’s not their responsibility to let their clients know they need to register as you can see in the screen shot of their email to me.
To be clear, their private parking is just a yard behind the hotel that belongs to them. What a shameful hotel.
