We had a great time and a little getaway for my husband and I. The hotel was in a quiet area on the interstate. It was clean when we walked in. The elevator was down though but the stairs weren't too bad going up. The hotel was 20 mins away from the casino too. We will definitely be back.

The breakfast was not so good.the eggs taste like water,the link sausage was awful tasting.the waffle was the only thing hot worth eating.we pay out money to stay at hotels.so when u tell us we get a free breakfast why can't u have food worth eating.also the rooms were clean,but the bed spreads had blood stains and other stains on them.other than that the staff was very nice.

First, the elevator was out of order with no plan to repair. I asked and they shrugged. The room was mostly clean but the hallways and common areas were nasty— and I don’t use that word lightly. There was dirt and debris all up and down the carpeted hallway on the second floor. The property is so loud. You can hear highway noise all night but there were also unruly people running up and down the hall at 3am when no one answered at the front desk. Very little sleeping occurred. To top it all off, breakfast was stale and temp management was non-existent for items that should be cold— like yogurt. Will I be back to Sylva? Yes. Will I stay here again? No. Beware.

I liked the fact that this was a pet friendly hotel. However, the grounds where you were able to walk your pet had not been mowed recently. We only saw one roach in our room.

Upon arrival I was informed that the elevator was out of service. The night shift desk attendant was pleasant and helpful and accommodated me with a first floor room. Once inside the room it was apparent that the room had not been fully cleaned after the last occupant. The bathroom was dirty, including hair on counters and floor. There was also no shower curtain. When I asked the morning desk attendants, they made me feel like needing a shower curtain was unnecessary and they would find me one anyway. About 20-30 minutes later the male brought me one, handed it to me without saying a word or even offering to install it or apologizing for the inconvenience. The only thing that redeems this hotel right now is the fact that it is dog friendly and that they have a raffle maker.

When we walked into the hotel it smelled so fresh. Everything was in order..neat and clean. We brought our dog so they put us in a dog room. As soon as we opened the door it wreaked of dog odor so bad. It still smelled awful the next morning. The toilet didn’t look like it was flushed in a week. Breakfast was very good. All in all it is a fantastic hotel but the dog rooms stink so bad. We paid $30 extra because of the dog but from the smell they aren’t disinfecting the rooms enough. A little bleach water will go a long way.
