Great stay

Great stay at the APA chain. Located in Namba it was easy to get around Osaka. Located close to eateries and the subway line made it great. Room was tiny but works for a solo traveler.

Nice and new

Nice and new hotel. Onsen is bigger than expected with sauna. Rome is a bit small. We picked connected room. Bed can fit for four but not much space then.

4 days in Osaka

Central location, very nice onsen with multiple pools (one cold) and a sauna. Rooftop pool is nice but entrance is booked in advance. The view is worth it though. Top restaurant is nice: food is good but the interior could be improved. It’s ok though. Staff is very friendly.

Walking distance to all the markets you will want to visit and more food options then you can imagine in surounding neighborhood! A breathtaking roof view! 7eleven on 4th floor with laundromat and Guest only public baths. Proximity to subway to connect to rest of Japan and or to get to the landmarks. Possibility of adjoining rooms if you want to travel with family... friends... kids. Will be returning and referring....

Bad hotel for the price I paid

Worst hotel I had in Japan. Very expensive for a small room with no view. Busy elevators, had to wait sometimes 10 minutes to use it... They charge extra money (about 3500 Yens daily) to access the pool that was supposed to be included… You have to pay to use the gym too. However, the public bath and location were good.

Small and compact, pluss many extra cost

Very small room for given price. We could barely fit 2 people with 1 luggage each. Bathroom even smaller. And all these stuff they promote they have at the hotel cost extra money, like gym, swimming pool, luggage storage, anything that would be for free in other hotels. So consider this before booking, maybe laying a little Ekstra for a different hotel I'd worth it?

Small rooms

Nice location, convenient to train and metro, great ac. Room was really small. Luggage had to go under bed. Check in was automated. No personal contact. Elevator lines super long at night. Extra charges for pool, hot tub, and gym. For four of us, we had to have connecting rooms. Wouldn’t be good with small children.

Location was great, close to metro and train station. The check in should be earlier as the check out is at 10 am . There’s enough time for cleaning and checking in early. There was zero contact with people . it’s always great to have the human touch . The dryers don’t work properly they take over an hour to dry your clothes.other than that was great

Long lines waiting for elevator, laundromat

I will give it 3.5 stars. The location is good. The hotel staff is polite but not helpful. We have a family of 4, reserved 2 rooms and requested the rooms on the same floor. When the request was not met, they did very little to try to address it. The issue worsen with their elevator logic. There are times took 10-mins before you can get on an elevator, making time consuming when you tried to go between floors. The stairs seem to be reserved for emergency only, so I cannot even use the stairs to go one level down to grab some ice. The facilities they offer, such as public bath and laundry are quite crowded, making me believe the capacity of the services do not meet the scale of the hotel.

Great location. Tiny rooms. Poor English stuff.

I traveled with my son and spent 5 nights there. Experience was in general ok. Good things: Higher floor was definitely bad experience cause the waiting time for elevator was awful. There was no view when we stayed on 38th floor because window is not allowed to be open unless emergency. Room is tiny and bathroom feels like the same as cruise. You have to pay per hour if you want to use the pool on the roof floor. Good stuff: Public bath was a great experience. Location was great. Lower floor was great that we could see outside through the window. Top floor great view both day and night.

Disappointing

Disappointed in our stay. Firstly booked this hotel because of the swimming pool only to find out on arrival that you need to pay 2000yen per adult to use it for only an hour! This is not shown when booking via hotels.com otherwise I wouldn’t have booked here. The bathroom stunk of urine. The hotel is too big to manage, all the rubbish is piled up in the corridors for hours before its removal, not a nice to walk past. It is in a good location, has a 7 eleven which was really convenient, transport options right outside the hotel. Also there is no information on tours etc available at the hotel. Not sure I would stay again. The bed to my surprise was fairly comfortable. The room is really small, you couldn’t open a big suitcase.

Detrimentally automated fine hotel

Processes are very automated, which is nice until at a sizeable hotel there is onlu one person at info. You get a free drink voucher to the hotel restaurant. Voucher requires you to buy a dinner. The special drink is not on the special drink menu list which feels a bit scammy. As does that the pool is open only on summer, which for the hotel does not include June. The pool is there, filled with water but despite not being included in the price and costing a non-trivial 2.000-3.000 yen per hour depending on day and time, you are not allowed to use it in +35 degree non-summer June. They have free movies on their TV system. Limited, but it is a nice extra that keeps you entertained for one or two evenings. Ice machine is free of charge to use. Onsen is good with many pools.

Mis-use of the term Resort

I would hardly call this a "resort" and their motto of "efficient luxury" made all of us laugh. Was far from efficient and generally a chaotic scene in that lobby. Everything was meant to be kiosk or app driven, but somehow required an army of physical people to execute the task - defeating the point of the digital aspect. And signage/communication was piecemeal & all over the place... for example, at check-in you use a kiosk, however its a wall labeled "pay cash difference" - nothing saying "check in". Person after person had to stand in line and ask where check in was. The part that was the most ridiculous was using the pool-so be warned and/or informed...Yes, they state the hours + floor of the pool on the in-room tv info. What do they leave out? You must go to the top floor via the slow and overcrowded elevators. At the top, you will be greeted by someone who will tell you to get a wristband at the desk. Okay, back down 40 floors. You go to the front desk and are told you have to sign up for your 1-hour block of swimming. It also costs money for this hour (for 3 people this was about $40 US Dollars - which was highway robbery). They use a color wristband system that is designated for each specific hour HOWEVER you cannot pre-reserve, they will only allow sign-up 15 min before each block, despite the color code system. Be the first in line or you lose pool time as sign-up is slow.You have to bring your own towels, but they give you a glass bottle HADA soda at the top.

房間雖然有點小，但價格合理，喜歡大浴場和24小時便利商店，入住時間體諒班機較晚的人，讓我能在午夜仍可以入住，非常感謝。入住和退房都很方便，房內的電視設計得很好。但號稱房間數最多的大飯店，相對的客人也很多，早上退房的時候，如果沒有小訣竅，電梯要等較久（不過已經很努力在做分流了）如果有想要寄放行李，記得提早排隊，因為人也非常多。整體來說，很努力克服大量客人會帶來的問題，設施佳、交通方便、距離景點近，值得推薦。

去日本有APA就放心

無論房間、公共衛生也很整潔。服務員每天可更換的毛巾浴衣包裝好掛門外、並沒有亂爬進房間執拾。環境舒適。唯一缺點就是每個客人同時check out，電梯爆滿，放置行李的隊伍太長令人沒有排隊的意欲，可以嘗試分段check out ，令大家更方便。
