Stayed here for a girls’ trip to celebrate both of my friends’ birthdays. It’s a really nice hotel in a great location—close to the local beach and the strip. The hotel itself is modern, and our stay was comfortable.
The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because of certain rules that I found quite unusual. For example, guests aren’t allowed to bring any outside food into the hotel—not even snacks. I’ve never experienced this before. So if you fancy a quiet night in with some local takeaway, want to enjoy some snacks on your balcony, or simply bring back leftovers from a restaurant, you can’t. This rule wasn’t made clear until we arrived. Several times we saw guests being told to eat their outside food at the bottom of the stairs near the entrance. On one occasion, when we unknowingly ordered food, we were told to eat it at the local park.
This policy makes it tricky if you’re on a budget, as you’re essentially limited to eating at the hotel restaurant unless you’re willing to head back out. We were told the rule was in place to prevent potential food-related illness, but honestly, it doesn’t make much sense as the hotel wouldn’t be liable for food brought in by guests.
That being said, we still had a lovely holiday overall, and the staff were really helpful throughout our stay.
