Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Upon arriving, we found that our first room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke mixed with an unpleasant old sweat smell. We brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, and I want to acknowledge that the staff was very accommodating and did their best to assist us by promptly moving us to another room.
Unfortunately, the second room had a similar odor, and we were shocked to find that the mattress was heavily stained and blackened, raising concerns that it may have been moldy or otherwise unsanitary. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying at the property.
We left the hotel and requested a refund through Expedia so that we could find alternative accommodations. While we appreciated the courteous and helpful staff, the condition and cleanliness of the rooms fell far below expectations.
