Absolutely incredible Riad experience for our first time in Marrakech. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after and answered any questions we had. The little touches went a long way, such as walking us to our taxis early in the morning to ensure our safety and booking excursions for us. Would highly recommend to anybody visiting Marrakech!

The location was good. The staff Adul Samad was very rude he interupted our dinner and demanded to vacate a room without doing his due deligence. The washrooms had cockroach and we could smell mold in rooms 3,4 and 5 due to the spa underground. some staff were really good like Hischam he gave us good welcome and explained about the city. The hotel were overbooked and very busy unlike other Riads we visited in Morocco.

I don't know if the rooms in all riads are so sensitive to noise. I'm not sensitive, but the rooms are really very soundproof. Especially if you stay under the terrace, you can hear the chairs being pushed back and forth all the time. I can't understand why the riad managers don't do anything about this. The rooms are really very small and unfortunately musty due to humidity (we had to change rooms). The staff are really nice and make an effort. Unfortunately, they can't help the circumstances. The location is good. The breakfast has very little choice and is almost always the same. The riad managers can certainly make a big difference here with small changes. We are three women in our 20s who stayed here for four nights. The staff was very very welcoming and respectful. They even served tea and pastries when we checked in and gave us an itinerary for Marrakesh. Although we had a lot of problems from check in to check out. We has problems with our shuttle to the hotel. The driver wasn‘t there and all of a sudden there were two drivers there at the airport. When we tried communicating with the hotel about it over the phone. They just hung up on us. Then when we checked in our room wasn‘t clean. For example the floor was very dirty and sticky. The drain in the shower was broken and we had hairs and stains on the bed sheets. We complained and the staff immediately apologised and said that we can change the room. The new room was fine although the toilet was shaking and felt like it would just fall over if you stand up too fast… And the lights and water weren‘t working for two hours one evening. The breakfast was just not what we imagined. It seemed unhygienic. There was a sick cat throwing up next to our table but the staff didn’t do anything about it. We never came for breakfast again after that morning. At Check Out therer were some mistakes with the bill and they almost overcharged us. So check your bill! Overall we felt safe because the reception is there 24/7 and they were very nice. MAYBE you can’t come to Marrakesh with european hygienic standards and expect the same as in spain and I don‘t mean it in a negative way

The floors in the room were very dirty. The water in the shower would leak on the floor through the bottom of the glass. When we complained out the room being gross staff offered no compensation and tried to guilt trip us by saying a free meal would come out of their pocket. There were probably 500 bees flying around everywhere on the rooftop restaurant right in the kitchen and seating area. Also the walls do not block any of the sound from the streets. You could tell the restaurant staff were trying their best but then that I did not have a good experience at all.

The staff were incredible, however I must deduct one star because we communicated a few days before on a pickup from the airport and they never showed up. We had to take an uber from the airport for about 140MAD. It was our first time in Marrakech so it would have been helpful to have someone from the hotel pick us up. They told us that a colleague was suddenly on vacation but then there was no reconciliation on the matter. There were limited food options despite having a menu; you’d often have to ask what’s available. They were very accommodating for not canceling our reservation for arriving one day late due to a delay in flight. But then the room wasn’t available right away. The Riad is pretty centrally located which we enjoyed. We were not planning to stay in the Riad during our stay because we’re out and about but it is small and something worth considering if you plan to relax while in Marrakech. They do have an absolutely beautiful view of the sunset in their rooftop. Overall decent stay, could have been a bit better for the value. Staff speaks French, English, Arabic. They understand Spanish but only one or two have some conversational skills, same with Italian. Food was a bit on the pricey side.

What should have been an unforgettable trip to Marrakech became a nightmare because of this hotel. When I checked in, I asked for the key to the room safe so I could securely store my cash and valuables. The staff told me they would check, but they never provided the key. Before leaving for the day, I left USD 400 in my room. When my friend and I returned, USD 300 was missing. I am absolutely certain of the amount because I counted the money before leaving. I immediately informed the reception. Shockingly, they told me that a similar incident had happened before and that they would investigate. Later, they reviewed their security cameras and informed me that only the housekeeper had entered my room while we were away. However, they simply told me that she denied taking anything and therefore no action would be taken. To make matters worse, I had also paid for a guide arranged by the riad. Instead of taking me to the places I specifically requested, he repeatedly took me to stores where he appeared to receive commissions, completely ignoring what I had asked for. After the hotel’s response, I no longer felt safe staying there. I had to leave immediately and drag my luggage through the streets of Marrakech to find another place to stay. It caused enormous stress, unexpected expenses, and completely ruined what should have been wonderful vacation. I cannot recommend this property to anyone. The lack of security and the way this situation was handled were completely unacceptable

Very disappointing experience at Riad Samir Privilege Boutique & Spa. I want to make it clear that the front desk staff during check-in were not the issue — the problem was management and the lack of communication and professionalism. I confirmed early check-in multiple times before arriving, including a week before, two days before, and again the day of arrival. Despite this, nothing was communicated properly, which caused my friends and I to spend hours trying to locate the riad late at night after our flight while receiving little to no response from management. It was an extremely stressful start to our trip. The rooms were much smaller than advertised in the photos and had an unpleasant smell. Food service was also very slow, with dishes taking a long time to arrive. Another disappointing part was the excursion recommendations through the riad. We later found much better options elsewhere in Marrakech, and after declining the riad’s excursions, the atmosphere toward us became noticeably colder and less welcoming. Management also acknowledged the issues we experienced and mentioned compensation would be provided, but this never happened and follow-up messages were ignored afterward. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations set online. There are many other riads in Marrakech with better communication, hospitality, and overall service. I would recommend looking at other options before booking here.

Los desayunos los peores que he probado en todo marruecos, los vasos sucios, el café absolutamente inbebible (todos los días igual de malo, y el zumo de bote), el primer día llegamos pronto así que pedimos desayunar ahí, 14€ por persona por un zumo de bote, un cafe inbebible y 4 pastas. La piscina del medio la mejor, aunque da a un patio interior por lo que te ve todo aquel que quiera. El SPA carísimo. No lo recomiendo, hay muchos más Riads con mejor atención al cliente y con desayunos mil veces mejores.
