Brilliant value hotel in a beautiful area and old heritage building. Yes it doesn’t have an elevator or air con but stayed there on the hottest day of the year on the fifth floor - the view, the fan and window which opened made it more than fine. For the cost it is great, beds are comfy, tv in the room, wardrobe and en suite all nice . Found the staff helpful too. Thanks!

We had the "family room". Very spacious and clean. The pluming in the shower and bathroom was a bit wiggly (loose). No cover in the shower meant very wet and slippery bathroom floor after our family of four were done. However, the staff was great. A confusion regarding the breakfast our first morning ended up in one kind lady (only french speaking) went out and got us baguettes and croissants!

Our stay at the hotel was excellent! From the moment we arrived, we were very well taken care of. The entire staff is extremely polite and helpful, the room is wonderful, and the location is also very good. It's just a few meters from the train and metro station, as well as bus lines. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for the excellent hospitality. We will definitely recommend it and will return when we go back to Paris.

Very clean hotel in an excellent spot, near the Nation Metro stop.Great price for the area and the reason is that the rooms are pretty tiny by US standards. The staff couldnt have been more friendly and accommodating.

The shower was terrible, the service was virtually non existant. I went for breakfast and the food looked bland and disappointing. The room had seen better days and I was on the 3rd floor lugging my belongings upstairs. This is one of the least favourite hotels I have stayed in. The location is good, I slept well.

The staff were helpful and friendly, we found the room to be clean and comfortable. Wifi didn’t reach up to the 6th floor where our room was but that was a minor issue. Convenient to the metro and easy to find. The room we booked was small, but it was as shown in the photo and it was a good place to use as a base for one night.

Well positioned for exploring Paris and great for budget-conscious travellers... but beware the stairs! I was on the 5th floor and those stairs are a killer after a day of exploring the city. Obviously there's not any way round this given the building's design, but anyone with mobility issues may want to think twice before booking here. Room was basic but fine, with a very small bathroom area (but still technically en suite!) and a TV - sadly no kettle and coffee/tea in the room, I believe refreshments were available from reception but given what an epic trip up and down stairs it is, I could live without it! Plenty of shops nearby to stock up on snacks and refreshments, including a well stocked Aldi 5 minutes walk away.

Hotel informed in advance that there is no elevator so I was prepared. Not convenient for people with disabilities or in case you have heavy luggage. For me it was fine. Window a little bit difficult to open but room size was OK for Paris downtown. Good location near "Nation" with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and convenient transportation. Staff always friendly. Although I didn't take breakfast the breakfast room in the basement looked quite inviting.

Just ok. We went in with somewhat low of expectations as we fully based our booking off reviews. We wanted to share our experience for others doing the same. There are both many pros and cons for this hotel: Cons: room was VERY hot, for the heat of summer it was almost unbearable. They do supply a small fan (which we’re thankful for) but we couldn’t do the heat again. Walking from the hall into the room was like a sauna because there’s no air flow and it’s a small small space. Bathroom was pretty small and quite grimy. It just wasn’t the most enjoyable stay due to the heat (unexpected), and the room visual appeal (expected) as well as the curb appeal of the place. As soon as we arrived, there was a homeless person laying right outside the hotel and garbage all near the entrance. It does feel somewhat unprofessional to allow someone to lie/ sleep on the hotel property with garbage thrown everywhere. Pros: great service. Very friendly staff who are very helpful. Refreshed towels and bed refresh daily (they come in while you’re gone). Security (front door kept locked at all times and you need to buzz to be let in!) Good location with many restaurants and cafes near by.

Staff were friendly enough. But I think this was falsely advertised- the room was so tiny, the bathroom door was broken. The room wasn’t the cleanest. And they gave us one towel. The bed wasn’t that comfy and it smelt weird. The room looked bigger on the photos. The location was good. But disappointed with the room. And also when you leave to explore the city you have to give the staff your key for the room- so we didn’t feel safe leaving anything in our room. And our room was on the 6th floor with no elevator but the stairs are so narrow and it’s so unsafe to carry a suitcase up that far.
