Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air countryside feel).

Wonderful hot spring hotel!

This hotel locates a bit far from the bus center, but still within 15minutes walk. The room, interior and hot spring were perfect! The staff is well trained and very kind. Its breakfast is also nice as well.

Lovely onsen hotel, Excellent service!

Check in was quick. Service was impeccable. Even though not very fluent in English, the staff tried their best to communicate. The hotel is by the river, and has amazing views. Japanese room we stayed in was very spacious. Buffet breakfast had a huge selection, and the hotel provides almost all the amenities you would need at the onsen. We encountered a few tour groups during our stay, so it can get quite crowded at times in the onsen.

The walls were thin. Above and below and beside me people partied all night. There were no English speaking staff, and I couldn't express this to them. The rooms and hallways are run down. The onsen is not well maintained.

Very nice!

Both the lady and gentleman at the reception are completely nice and helpful. Arrived hotel a bit late at night (around 8:30pm) and would like to have dinner at the Saga Gyuhinkan. Restaurant was almost closed but glad they finally accept us for meals. There's a Chinese waiter and he's very helpful too. Onsen opens till 12am for guest with room so that we can still enjoy it after dinner. Sauna inside hot spring area is small but clean. A very wide range of food served during breakfast, truly worth for money and recommend for anyone who visit Ureshino. :)

not recommended. tourist trap

well. for the price. not good. my room : ok size, old bath tub with moss. smells like soy soyce spill, next room loud i can hear kids screaming at 1 am. also on going construction in front. sauna water is so little, sauna is so old and so cold. toilet is so cold. my ass frozen. i made reservation 3 months ago but they did not say ‘dinner is not available’. had to look for local restaurant for 1 hour. luckly we found local restaurant. if not, i could have eaten at 7/11 store. been to many japanese ryokan and hotel. this is the worst local motel with nothing around. this is tourist trap motel in middle of nowhere. nothing traditional about it. i rather drive 1 hour to kumamoto stay in nikko hotel or the blossom kumamoto hotel.

아마 타워빌딩도 만든지 오래된 듯한데 샤워실 문이 틀어져서 문이 제대로 안닫힌게 제일 당황스러운 경험이었음. 흡연실을 받았지만 다행히 담배냄새가 안나서 금연도 흡연도 가능한건가 싶었음. 또 하나 아쉬운건 에어컨 조절이 안된다는 거??

最近はホテル利用がほとんどなので昔ながらの旅館は久方ぶりでした、朝食付きでしたが、良かったですよ。満足でした。 ただ、大浴場は湯量がしっかりでしたが、洗い場のシャワーとか蛇口は捻ってもあまり出が良くなかったです。

오래된 료칸이라 특유의 냄새는 어쩔수없는거고 워낙 넓어서 대욕장가는데 너무 멀어서 한번가고 안가고 방에서 씻었네요 다행히 방에도 온천물이 나와서 괜찮았어요 대욕장은 멀기도 했지만 노천탕이 사방이 막혀있어서 좀 답답했어요 그리고 샤워할때 수전들이 오래되어서 불편했어요

タワー館11階に宿泊。 お部屋は綺麗にしてあるが年代感じる。 大浴場までの動線が、かなり長く何度も入りたい人には躊躇してしまうかも。 温泉湯は、とろみある感じでとても良かった。
