I had a pleasant stay overall. The dorm beds had privacy curtains, which made a big difference. The room and bed linens were clean, and I appreciated that each bunk had its own power outlet, a small shelf for personal belongings, and a bedside lamp. I arrived after the reception had closed, but the self check-in process was excellent. Everything was automated using Web Keys on a webpage. By simply clicking the buttons, I could unlock the main entrance, the hallway door, and my room door. It was a smooth and convenient experience. The shower had good water pressure, which I appreciated. The only downside was that there was a dirty chunk of soap left on the shower faucet, and the floor squeegee (used to remove water from the bathroom floor) was also dirty. Since Swedish bathrooms typically don't have a separate shower area, the entire floor gets wet, so guests are expected to use the squeegee after showering. The only real issue I had was the main entrance door. It was extremely heavy and difficult to open. I actually had to ask another guest how to open it because I thought I was doing something wrong. One final tip: this isn't the hostel's fault, but if you're staying in a shared dorm, be prepared for the possibility of a roommate who snores loudly—I certainly had one! I highly recommend bringing good earplugs or noise-cancelling earbuds for a better night's sleep. Overall, despite a couple of minor issues, I had a comfortable stay and would consider staying here again.
