10/10 Exceptional

A true hidden gem. My wife and I stayed here because the hotel at the casino was waaay overpriced so we usually look for smaller places that have a cozy feel at look nice. The stone gate inn exceeded our expectations, the room was very big, it had a seating area in a separate room than the bed and they offered free continental breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay that will keep you on budget.

Greeting on arrival was pleasant and friendly. Room was very clean as was the lobby. Breakfast area was clean and there seemed to be a reasonable number of choices for the included breakfast. Room was very quiet and a great value.

It was fine for the price. Evening reception wasn’t very friendly but daytime was great. The hotel is pretty run down - old carpet in room, lots of stains, but for the price it’s what I expected.

Hair balls on floor in bathroom, fridge freezer was so packed full of ice ..couldn’t use it and the fridge made so much noise from compressor kept us awake. Doing Reno’s on our floor was dusty. The fitness room equipment was unusable. Location was easy to find. Shower pressure was good

Front desk staff is amazing!!
Verified review

6/10 Good

Door to room was not aligned and wouldn't self-close nor permit double locking. Very tired decor and needs total refresh. TVs have analogue Cable TV service but good choice of channels. Breakfast is typical low-end motel quality with 1 hot item (powdered scrambled eggs) and terrible brewed coffee but otherwise decent variety of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread and tacky pastry.
