Honestly if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. It’s a 10 min drive to town, 30 min walk. The attention to detail here was amazing, the staff cleaned my room daily. The shower was SOOO hot and the private jacuzzi was used daily. If you want a relaxing, beautiful comfortable place to stay look no further. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. There is security on site and reception is reached through what’s app.
The bathroom products smelt amazing
Even the toilet paper had the BAUMA stamp.

Such an amazing place to stay. Everything was clean and very friendly. Everything is communicated through whatsapp which is very common for country’s like Costa Rica, so be sure to download the app. Everything was a breeze. Long drive from the air port but very worth it me and my wife loved every second of being there. The morning views with coffee were amazing.

Beautiful clean private suites with private outdoor tub. Comes equipped with coffee maker, coffee, sugar, hotplate, microwave and fridge and some basic kitchen supplies. Amazing accommodations, would definitely recommend!

The virtual staff was very responsive and helpful, the location is good and the place was clean. Overall, it was nice and met our needs. There’s consistent street noise, however, which we found hard for sleeping, and at the time of our stay, there was active construction noise next door, which took away from our relaxing afternoon after a busy morning. The kitchen was stocked well enough for very simple meals but would benefit from better cooking tools. La Fortuna is a great base for the Arenal area.

Wow!! This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! The staff was incredible and were so supportive and accommodating to EVERYTHING we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure this was the best vacation ever! We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and they made sure it was so perfect! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!! Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here!
