This was our second stay, good hotel for anyone who might need a hotel pre or post flights. Great value

This place really needs to be demolished. It is in terrible disrepair. With that said our room was reasonable clean when we arrived although no house keeping service was provided. Free breakfast was bleak. People seemed nice and seem to be trying.
3-night trip

AK, the manager, was very nice, and the breakfast was good. Our room was not as pictured on the Hotels.com website. Our room had old furniture, no where to hang your clothes (no closet),a rusty sink and the bathtub was stained. The mattresses were comfortable. The hotel seems to be doing renovations.

The room exceeded my expectations. It had a homey feel and was clean and quiet.

The renovations are modern, and the rooms are quiet, warm and clean. The new management and staff are more than accommodating and welcoming. If you're looking for a nice bed to sleep in with quick access to town and the snowmobile trail this is the place!

An overnight oasis for $90 bucks. The only thing is the free breakfast was cereal and frozen waffles but for the price I couldn’t be happier!

Undergoing renovations, however it was clean and staff was very good to me. We were taking early morning flight so we did not get to have breakfast, but was offered it and was told they could make us coffee get us something if we wanted. Overall they are a great overnight for the value.

Rooms were nice and clean. Complaints walls and ceiling were thin we could hear every step taken from the room above us. Minor issues way to much scented deodorizer in the room.

Lightly renovated. Bed ok. Bathrooms dirt and rust in the roof tiles. Paper thin walls and ceiling. Was like people were walking in the room at all hours of the night. Have not slept as bad as I did these two nights. And of course the gym was being “renovated”. Never there again.

The staff at Presque Isle Hotel were really friendly and accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable, though I had an issue with the wall heater not heating properly. They quickly switched me to another room, which was a bit inconvenient, but I appreciated the prompt solution. The breakfast options were great, offering a nice variety. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

2/10

It was not so good because we had no heat in our room for the entire night. The room was clean but the rest of the hotel was gross and run down. We waiting over 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk to check us. I would never stay here again!

The staff was excellent and extremely helpful. The hotel is under new ownership-the past 3 weeks. Not all of the rooms are open and the continental breakfast is a work in progress. They are in the process of renovating. The price was excellent. We had to stay a couple more nights due to health reasons. We were given the initial discounted price we had paid for the initial night. Some of the websites show a pool, the pool is being renovated as is the restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. Prince(staff member) was a prince among men!!!

I stayed at the hotel again for my solar business visit, and it’s clear they’ve put in some effort since my last stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience smooth. I noticed they were painting the restaurant, so it looks like they’re working on updates, though it didn’t really bother me. The free breakfast was decent, nothing fancy, but good enough to grab before heading out. For the price, it’s hard to complain. It’s not perfect, but it’s a practical option for a business trip like mine.

Staff went above and beyond to help me. The furnature in the hotel room was beautiful. The room was well heated during low tempatures. Couldn't get an uber or a lift. If you go to presque isle don't let go of the keys of your rental car keys untill you have your plane tickets in your hand.
2-night trip

2/10

I booked a two night stay, because of the positive reviews from the Expedia site, which must have been part of some kind of promotion for a discount in exchange for a positive review. The property was in terrible condition, and although the rooms had been recently renovated, the curtains didn’t close, there was no room key (only a keypad for which they gave me multiple codes, so I’m pretty sure it was not secure), the heat didn’t work (in February), and the rest of the facility was completely falling apart. It’s outside of town, not convenient to anything, and I didn’t feel safe staying even one night by myself. I immediately checked out and found somewhere else to stay for the night.

Apparently this place just opened again the week before we got there. It had been closed for a while but should never have been opened because it was not even updated! You walked into an old run down reception area with a filthy floor. Smelled like some kind of curry indian spice smell. The heat was not even on! We walked down a hall to our room that looked like it came out of a Stephen King movie! (redrum). In our room and the curtains were filthy brown color. The bedding was grotesque and again the heat wasn't even on in our room! If you know someone is staying, would you at least put the heat on in the room???? I asked for a refund immediately and was told it would be processed on the following Monday. When I called on Weds after not seeing a refund come through, I was told they would not be refunding me. It is unfortunate because there are not a lot of places to stay in that area and they are taking advantage of customers! Terrible Terrible!!

The pictures made it look much nicer than it is. The staff bent over backward to be helpful. The room was clean though somewhat dated. The breakfast was a kind of sparse.
