The location was at the bottom of the cliff by the grand marina. Easy walk to the water. Very small pebbled/sandy beach. Several restaurants there. You can also arrange a private boat tour of Capri, Positano and Amalfi. It's expensive but worth it. Boat tours run until the end of Oct and start up again in April. You can arrange a taxi to the top of the cliff to go to town or walk up the hill. Easy walk back down. Very safe to walk around. This town is a one and done for me, but really happy we went. Book a lemon hrotto tour...there are several at the top of the cliff.

Great location- very close to restaurants and the beach, walkable to the main area in Sorrento. Very comfortable rooms with comfortable beds. More than enough space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking was good and well pointed out by staff. Room was nice but small. Breakfast was ok and choice was ok for size of hotel. Great location and restaurants nearby were nice. Reasonable walk to tour boats which is why we booked this hotel

Hotel Del Mare is a great selection for a stay in Sorrento. Just off the charming Marina Grande, there are restaurants and beach clubs to keep you well fed and tanned. There is a shuttle that runs to the center of town; it always works going into town but we had trouble finding it to come back. The breakfast is delightful. The staff is excellent, helpful and friendly. Only a late-night problem with a phone that didn't work and a banging door marred the quality of our visit The rooms are cozy and efficient although you can hear other guests coming and gong. Hotel Del Mare is a perfect choice in an area with astronomical hotel rates. We'd go back in a minute.

great location right by the water (our room overlooked the water). Very close to restaurants and bars. Bathroom was tight but adequate. Room small but all you need.

Best part of the stay is the staff. Everyone was extremely welcoming and nice. They were super helpful in arranging the transportation to the Naples hotel. They also connected us with the doctor for my son’s earache. Although the room and bathroom are tiny the helpful staff made all of forget that even being an isssue.

8/10 Very good

The rooms were clean, staff were very friendly, breakfast was nice, however the hotel seemed to be bit different than the photos on the website. Specifically, the terrace photo appeared to look very close to the beach and marina, however the reality is the hotel is surrounded by other old buildings and the view is not as spectacular as they show in the photo.
