Would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Florence! It is about a 15 minute walk to the city central, a 5 minute walk from the main train station. The neighborhood is very safe around the hotel as well! 24 hour front desk service and they accommodate you quickly with any of your needs! Definitely worth it especially with the price !

Perfect!

The rooms were spacious and airy, and the bathrooms and toilets were clean. Additionally, we reached the city center and the hill with a view of Florence on foot. We left our luggage early at check-in, and they gladly kept an eye on it for us so we could explore a bit more at check-out. For this, we are grateful. We highly recommend this place everyone☺️

A nice and clean hotel, hidden away so little confusing but all worked out. Room was very clean, can't fault that. Refurbed so that was good. The shower and toilet were ridiculously high, can't work out why. Felt Quite unsafe getting in and out of shower - only fault.

The location of Arcadia Guesthouse was absolutely amazing! It was about a 5 minute walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station & around 10 minutes to get right into the city centre and the “heart” of Florence, which was fantastic. It’s also super close to a tram stop almost right outside the building. The hotel staff was great & was super responsive as we were arriving later at night. However for the place itself, it definitely wasn’t the best stay. The walls are so thin you can hear EVERYTHING, from doors slamming to your neighbours conversations, to footsteps from above, below & beside you, which was very very annoying. It also was a bit tricky to find at first, and if you’re arriving at night, it feels a bit sketchy, but once you’re inside it’s okay. Overall the location was fantastic, and it was a good stay for just a couple short days. I don’t think we would stay any longer than that again. If you want to get places by walking, or if you have any trains to catch, then this place is for you.

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the main train station Santa Maria Novella and 10-15 minutes from all major sightseeing spots. However, the positives end there. Unfortunately, the staff were quite unfriendly. One can only hope they were locals, otherwise, it would be an absolute disgrace. The room door was difficult to lock, which was quite frustrating. The exterior of the building looks very rundown and unassuming. The bathroom was not particularly clean, which added to the overall disappointment. On a positive note, the hotel's premises on the 1st and 2nd floors do not look rundown and the floors are secured with locks, which is reassuring. We didn't have breakfast included in our stay, so I can't comment on that. Ultimately, the price is only justified by the convenient location. If it weren't for that, I would not recommend staying here, especially if a good service is important for you.

One-Star Review

The only redeeming qualities of this so-called hotel are its proximity to Firenze SMN Train Station and the 24-hour service desk. Beyond that, our experience was nothing short of disappointing. Room Conditions The showers were tiny, poorly designed, and downright dangerous. One didn’t even have a place to put shower items, and both were elevated off the ground with no safety railing, making slipping almost inevitable. One room had a musty smell of mold that couldn’t be aired out. To make matters worse, the door hinge in our room closest to the stairs looked like it had been kicked in, with the wood frame broken—hardly reassuring for security. Photos show mold on the sheets. Noise and Disturbance Our second room was no better. We heard footsteps outside our door during the night, even though there were no other rooms nearby. It was unsettling, to say the least. Customer Service Trying to communicate with this hotel was an absolute nightmare. We had to reach out multiple times before getting a response, and when they finally replied, they were unfriendly and unhelpful. Poor Value For the price we paid, this hotel was barely cheaper than other options in the area. Given the subpar conditions and lack of basic amenities, it was a complete waste of money. Final Verdict If you’re looking for a place that’s barely functional with zero regard for comfort, safety, or customer service, then this might be the spot for you. Otherwise, avoid this hotel at all costs.

The room at 1st floor is too noisy, very close to the tram and the tram stars from AM 5:00. The soundproof of this room is very poor, it seems somebody work very late, may be pulling the chair or something, The noise kept unitl midnight (maybe AM 2:00~3:00) and started from very early about about AM6:00. I stay two nights and can not get well sleep every night.

Desde nuestra llegada el chico de recepción fue muy amable, nos llevó hasta nuestra habitación y nos enseñó cómo usar las persianas europeas. La ubicación al lado de la estación de tren, y con una parada de transporte justo enfrente. La habitación amplia con un techo muy alto. Lo unico malo era que por la mañana se escuchaba como jalaban/arrastraban las sillas del restaurante del hotel y al tener la parada del tren de transporte enfrente se escuchaba algo de ruido. Se fue la luz un par de veces en la noche pero no supe si en general o solo en el edificio. Lo unico de todo q si me pareció incómodo fue que la regadera estaba como a 50cm del suelo y habia que usar un barquito para usarla, lo cual considero bastante peligroso si uno está mojado

Fica bem perto do metrô é bem prático e fica a poucos minutos dos pontos turísticos dá pra fazer tudo a pé. O quarto é bem confortável, bom chuveiro, tem o barulho de trem pq fica do lado da estação mais não atrapalha nada. Eu recomendo e ficaria novamente. Da pra deixar as malas depois do check out
