This was our second stay at the Carpentry and once again, it did NOT disappoint! The hotel is beautiful and the room is super clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The hotel is within walking distance of the Oakwood Cafe (great breakfast), Cherokee Brewing and Pizza (excellent and many other restaurants and gift shops. The only thing we don't like about the Carpentry is that the rooms don't have microwaves. However, amenities do include a coffee maker, complimentary water and a refrigerator.

Super cute super clean and super comfortable. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. My only complaint was that they bar wasn’t open, but we were there in a Sunday so that maybe have been the reason (although website says bar “open daily”)- the bar was one of the reasons we chose the hotel.

What a unique find - such a nice boutique hotel in Dalton! The room was very clean, decor pleasing, bed super comfortable, and the staff very helpful and courteous! We didn't have time this visit to take advantage of the workout room, but it's a nice size and good variety. We were able to take advantage of their lovely continental breakfast - perfect coffee, and wonderful pastries. The Carpentry is truly a gem!!!

Breakfast was light — muffins/donuts/water/cofffee/hot water for tea/yogurt/bottled water — sufficient enough to get us out the door Parking lot as good, plenty of space. Super clean room and great shower. We liked the charm of the hotel and the decorations around, reflecting the history of the area. When we were here it was on a super cold night, so most of the town and the hotel bar were closed. We liked the igloos on the roof - they were super cute - but again it was too cold.
