I paid for a single room as I was traveling on my own, the room was a bit dated, but clean and the bed was comfy. A bit of maintenance and it would have been really good. I did pop in to a room next door as it was being cleaned for the next guest, much better. Only niggle, and it's not a big one, is the staff are at reception 24 hours a day, so when you gou out, the door locks behind you and you have to buzz to get back in, usually in other hotels you get a night key for the front door, but as I said, no big deal, especially as it's a budget hotel. No breakfast option, but the Bread Factory around the corner did amazing pastries and coffee.

Its a 2 star hotel so very basic keep your expectations in line The rooms are clean have air conditioning hotel has a lift staff are friendly I stayed here 2 years ago and the rooms were $30 USD and in 2025 the rooms are $50 -so inflation hits everywhere There is a metro station nearby and the Larissa train station is also nearby So if you are looking for a clean cheap pkace to sleep with no frills in Athens this place fits the bill

I’m only giving it 3 stars bc I have small bites from either bed bugs or just bugs in general. This didn’t happen to me in my previous stay nor the following stay when I left Athens. I only got bitten in this hotel. So it’s in need of a serious pest control!! On the plus side: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! The hotel is conveniently located about one and a half block from the metro station, Metaxourgeio. I don’t recommend walking around the area at night. It’s very dark and has some shady people walking around. P.S. The lock don’t seem very secure and mine actually didn’t work on the last day I was there just before I had a plane to catch but the staff was able to help me gain entry.

Let’s start with the bathroom- which was absolutely disgusting! There was black mold growing on the windows and walls! The shower was a 1/4 semi circle with a curtain that touched a small human body! There was no shower head - only a wand- again if you attempted to get wet your body would stick to the curtain! We were able to gang the wand and leave the curtain open- which was how we learned of the additional drain in the bathroom! The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were so flat we ended up requesting additional pillows! The carpet is circa 1970’s and shows its age! On a good note- the mini fridge works well! If you are in good shape and enjoy walking - the location to local historic places is good!

one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at. the rooms and towels had a moldy smell all the time, the WiFi was terrible, and the room was very old and small. it was a very uncomfortable stay. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
