Great location to everything. Close to the castle and much quieter than if we stayed down below towards town. Staff was amazing. We stayed in the duplex room. The spiral stairs up to the bedroom and bathroom are a little steep along with the entrance stairs to the room so if you’re mobility challenged I would recommend another room. Front desk was a great help with all our questions and needs.

Stayed in the Riverview suite. The room was very nice. The view was excellent. You should know there's lots of steps in the hotel in Portugal in general Play slack! Some big hotel amenities but it is nice and charming. The stiff was very good, pleasant and welcoming

The best things at Solar Dos Mouroa, besides an incredible view of the river from the heart of the old city is the service. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. A special shout out to Rio, who came and rescued us himself when our taxi driver left us downhill at the wrong location with all of our heavy luggage. Breakfast was quite a nice spread too, especially with the make your own crepe station!

Stunning Views, Exceptional Staff, Great Location! A hidden gem tucked behind an unassuming exterior. The entrance can be misleading, but once inside, the personal attention rivals that of luxury hotels. Close to the public elevator, groceries, and Castelo de São Jorge We were offered a welcome drink while our luggage was carried upstairs. Frédéric and Rio were genuinely warm, friendly, and attentive, going out of their way to make us feel at home. Their personal attention made our stay especially memorable. We stayed in the top-floor Santa Catarina room, and the view was amazing!. The water is much closer than it appears. Walls of Castelo de São Jorge on the right. If you're comfortable climbing 80 steps, I'd highly recommend this room. Things to consider: The room temp was comfortable with air conditioning in October (not cold). I could imagine summer being hot. Also, the clear bathroom door offers limited privacy (I'd suggest frosting the lower half). I'm so glad we took a chance on this intimate hotel. The views were wonderful, but the genuine hospitality made it truly special.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time in Lisbon, thanks to our relaxing stay at this hotel. The service was exceptional, the food was delicious, and the location was perfect. The room was pretty and spacious. The staff was outstanding, truly great service especially Francois. The only thing I did not like was the shower didn’t drain properly and the tub shower head was limited in its reach. Otherwise a great place to stay!

An excellent hotel to stay if you want to be close to the main attractions in the old Lisbon, located at a walking distance from the Rossio Metro station. Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby, not to mention the one at the hotel serving delicious Portugese cuisine. Breakfast is also super delicious with croissants, toasts, fresh fruit, eggs, yogourt, cold cuts, pancakes...etc. The staff is amazing. A big thank to François, Maurice (Momo), Bruno and Anick who were always ready to help. They also made suggestions for tours and visits. I had the room on the top floor with a private terrace and a wonderful view of the Taje. This room is worth paying a little more if you want to treat yourself. It was my first time in Lisbon and I would definitely stay there when I return.

Clean, modern room with espresso maker, mini fridge, fresh fruits and a decanter of port laid out for us. Windows overlooking the rooftops and ocean. If you constantly run hot like I do, the AC unit and wooden shutters create a cool oasis, along with soft duvet and comfortable mattress. Breakfast (we paid for included meal) was well worth it: eggs, sausage and tomato baked with cheese. Crepes with all sorts of sweet toppings, pastries, bread, meats, cheese, smoked salmon and fruit. The friendly Francois asked after every detail. A hard hike from tram stops but uber from the airport was under $20. The hotel is above a grocery store, providing for inexpensive lunches and wine. A perfect stay.
