This was a wonderful second stop for our honeymoon. They had great food and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The pool was perfect for us to quietly relax and have a breather with great service. The location was great being able to head up the hill to shop for basic needs and the walk to the square for restaurants and busy tourist attractions was also easy. Though use a taxi from lower areas and marina to get back to hotel. The whole one thing I did miss was the opportunity to walk through their garden area

We were in four cities on our trip to Italy and our stay in Sorrento was our favorite largely due to our stay at Hotel Florida. The hotel itself was off a main road so we did not get street noise. The room itself was comfortable with a great bed and pillows and nice patio. Their morning breakfast was the very best we had on our trip - great coffee, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, cereals and much more. They also had a one way free shuttle to a couple locations including the port which made our ferry departure much easier with luggage. We especially enjoyed the bar area by the pool. You could sit out under the sun and lemon trees and have a glass of wine in the afternoon. The staff without exception was excellent. If you need an inexpensive laundry near by for laundry, check out Rosy's Laundry just a 5-8 minute walk. Cost was about 20 Euro for two loads - wash and dry.

What a superb hotel. The best 3 star hotel we've every stayed in. Me wife and 18 year old daughter shared a proper 3 bed room with 3 proper beds. Staff were first class and so helpful throughout our stay. As its a family run hotel they even got used to knowing regular breakfast orders and that personal touch makes such a lovely difference. The swimming pool was excellent. 8 jacuzxi yets at one end and a decent depth throughout meant no extreme deep or shallow ends. Lovely gentle stepped entrance too, not wrestling with metal ladders. All in all a fantstic place to stay. The free courtesy bus each morning either to downtown Sorrento or the train station is a welcome extra. Fantstico!!

The hotel has some definite benefits such as a pool, restaurant and bar in the hotel. However, it didn't offer some of the amenities I had become used to seeing in other hotels in Italy such as toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc.), coffee maker, full size TV. It was a clean, well maintained property with very hospitable staff. Bonus was the free breakfast each morning.

We stayed in the family apartments for a night while traveling back through Sorrento en route back to Rome. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and helped us secure a last minute private transfer to Rome. The pool was perfection after a hot morning of travel and the food by the pool was excellent. The family apartment was exactly what we needed for our family of four. The hotel itself was a bit further from town than our last Sorrento hotel so expect a 15 minute walk to the center Piazza. Highly reccomend!

May 21-25 2026 What a beautiful hotel with an amazing lemon & orange grove leading us to our immaculate room. The pool was wonderful after a long day of sightseeing. The front desk staff, dining staff & cleaning staff were also amazing & friendly. The breakfast to get us going in the morning was fantastic & the dinner upon return was also fabulous! This hotel is nice and clean 20 to 30 minutes walk to the center depending on your pace getting to the hotel from the center cost 25€ .which we paid since after an excursion we were too tired to walk. Good restaurant friendly staff . The only reason I gave good rating for amenities is they do not provide shampoo and the only thing we had was 3 paper cups in the room .
