Hotel Chromatic is a colorful, clean hotel. Located in the heart of Guatape, the hotel provided us good breakfast each morning, a nice hot shower, and friendly staff. Though the room didn't have a coffee pot or refrigerator, the coffee bar downstairs made good coffee and lattes, and my wife loved the hour massage on site--a paid option from their spa.

When we arrived it became apparent that I had made a big mistake and arrived a day early. Thankfully, Valerie (apologies if I have your name wrong) helped us out and sorted us out, which was much appreciated. All the staff were helpful and, even though there was a language barrier, still made us comfortable.

Que hotel LINDO e bem cuidado! E que equipe maravilhosa e atenciosa. O café da manhã apesar de ser pré determinado, era muito gostoso. A própria equipe se prontificou a perguntar se queríamos trocar as arepas por um sanduíche de queijo e presunto para o nosso filho pequeno. São delicadezas que podem parecer pequenas, mas são muito gentis e fazem toda diferença. Não vejo a hora de retornar para Guatapé e aproveitar a estadia por mais tempo.

If you’re looking for a great place to stay in Guatapé, look no further. Don’t let the very reasonable prices fool you. This hotel offers exceptional value and easily competes with places that charge much more. The only thing to keep in mind is the room type. The Standard Rooms have interior windows facing the hallway rather than exterior windows. If having a window or balcony is important to you, book one of the Comfort Rooms with a balcony. The price difference is minimal, but there are only two of these rooms, so reserve early. The balcony rooms face the street, so they can be a bit noisier, while the Standard Rooms are quieter. It really comes down to whether you prefer a balcony and outside view or a quieter night’s sleep. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. I would gladly stay here again.
