We love, love, LOVED our stay at Canoe Suites. Such an awesome hotel that is close enough to downtown to enjoy the town but far enough away to feel unplugged at the end of the day. While we had a car, we used the shuttle to avoid parking issues. The views were spectacular. Highly recommend!

Excellent location in Banff on the outskirts of town but totally within reach of everything. We LOVED not being in the crowded downtown Banff area but still within walking distance plus we could see elk just across the street. Clean rooms, fantastic staff, and terrific coffee. Free shuttle passes, bear spray (free but pay if you use it), and good onsite restaurant. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is a bit farther out from downtown to walk but you get free transit tickets. Overall great stay and experience. We most of all enjoyed the pool.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s at the very edge of town so it’s a bit of walking (or the free city bus) to get to the heart of town but we did it several times. The room was really nice and very clean. The staff were very helpful. All the pillows were rock hard and they didn’t have any variety on the beds or with housekeeping to choose from and this did affect our sleep. But the outdoor hot pool and space was very relaxing with a beautiful view. We would definitely stay here again (and bring our own pillows). Beautiful property and room.

Great location and beautiful hotel. The restaurant was also tasty. They offer tea and coffee for the room. Don’t miss out on the maple tea. It was memorable. The perk of a bus pass was super helpful and enabled us to get wherever we needed! Room was spacious and clean. The shower had some drain issues but still usable.
