The property was not what we expected. Our room was very basic without A/C & a very small room & bathroom. Shower was the only good thing in the room. There was a pool but it was built outside the reception with out any grass, trees or any ambience surrounding it. Breakfast & area around it was very good. The main reason for booking here were the pictures of the waterfalls behind the hotel & convenience of traveling from Suisse to Burgundy. The hotel is what I would consider average.

Great location, very calm and green, the property itself is beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly, restaurant is top notch, the building itself is amazing, unfortunately there is a serious lack of maintenance which is visible every where, the rooms in the tower were very basic, we were upgraded to a suite in the main building which was very nice but still the hotel needs a lot of work all around. Also the pictures online make the hotel look more luxurious than it really is. In my opinion the hotel is a 3 star and not a 4 star. I truly hope the owners will work to improve the property as it could really be amazing.

Hotel: we had a lovely (superior) room but the surrounding areas of the property could be better maintained. Not really value for money. Do check your bill on departure too. Restaurant: unfortunately this was a disaster. We had to wait ages for a drink and menu, then, having finally ordered, the courses took forever to be served. The majority of the diners at the restaurant had the same issue and we spent a total of 3 hours over dinner. Most diners appeared to choose the €59 set menu. The food was good but there were only 3 staff for about 25 tables. Had we been served our drinks early on we would have been happier. I can’t recommend this hotel or restaurant.
