Great location, very calm and green, the property itself is beautiful, staff was very helpful and friendly, restaurant is top notch, the building itself is amazing, unfortunately there is a serious lack of maintenance which is visible every where, the rooms in the tower were very basic, we were upgraded to a suite in the main building which was very nice but still the hotel needs a lot of work all around. Also the pictures online make the hotel look more luxurious than it really is. In my opinion the hotel is a 3 star and not a 4 star. I truly hope the owners will work to improve the property as it could really be amazing.

Hotel: we had a lovely (superior) room but the surrounding areas of the property could be better maintained. Not really value for money. Do check your bill on departure too. Restaurant: unfortunately this was a disaster. We had to wait ages for a drink and menu, then, having finally ordered, the courses took forever to be served. The majority of the diners at the restaurant had the same issue and we spent a total of 3 hours over dinner. Most diners appeared to choose the €59 set menu. The food was good but there were only 3 staff for about 25 tables. Had we been served our drinks early on we would have been happier. I can’t recommend this hotel or restaurant.
