The parador is situated on the main road leading to the town. It is an impressive looking building with many original features. We arrived on a very warm October afternoon but there was no outdoor seating so we had to sit in an enclosed conservatory- very hot! It wouldn’t have taken much to place a few tables and chairs on the extensive front lawns. Swimming pool was closed off and empty. We used the tennis courts and although patchy, we had fun. The room was clean and tidy and there was a small bar. Restaurant food was pricey and of course you are a captive audience. Food was fine although we didn’t eat breakfast. Cocktails were very nice! A good stay somewhat spoiled by lack of outside seating.

Rooms are well appointed and very clean. Hotel is on a very busy road, that’s has no sidewalk, so even thought you are very close to Teruel, you can’t safely walk anywhere. Use a taxi, if you don’t want to drive. Pool doesn’t open until 11am, so don’t plan on having a swim before you check-out. The bar area is tiny, decorated like a hospital corridor, it’s not inviting at all. The dining room is overly bright and functional, rather than beautiful, which is a shame, considering the architecture of the hotel. There’s nothing really wrong with the hotel, we would stay again, the rooms are very comfortable, as are the beds, it’s just not as good as it could be, with just a few small changes.

Lovely place to stay. Plenty of free parking on site. Spacious room. Easy walking distance to Teruel town. Head for the historic centre - plenty outdoor bars/ restaurants - quite cheap. Worth going up the steps from the bar area as they take you to a lovely, large open space. Walk over the pedestrian bridge - worthwhile. Would certainly stay at the parador again if I was in the area. Only 90 minutes from Valencia - very easy to get there by car.

Room good, very clean with excellent bathroom. Only drawback, as is usual in Spanish hotels, no kettle! Staff friendly and courteous. Restaurant didn’t open until 20.30 for dinner which is a bit late for us Brits especially with the hour time difference.

There are no buses to the Parador and need to take taxis if you don't go by car. Taxis are 9 euros to the center. Lovely and quiet place, excellent food. Staff are efficient and helpful.

I can highly reccomend Parador De Teruel

The Paradore at Teruel was a great place to stay for our 2 night stay in the Aragon district of Spain. The Staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. The hotel was comfortably appointed with lovely grounds. Unfortunately the pool was closed, however our stay was in October so not unsurprising! We ate in the Parador for breakfast and dinner. The servers were efficient and friendly, and the food was of an excellent standard.

What a fantastic property, for years i’ve ignored the Paradores- no idea why. Great value, great staff and amazing properties. This is the best solution to keep these properties in good stead to be enjoyed for future generations. Paradores for me from now on.

Lovely hotel, little isolated

Paradore hotels are usually beautiful and this is no exception. Lacked some atmosphere, the dining room and bar were both very brightly lit. Food was nice, but portions are small, so be sure and have a starter. Not near anything obvious, just off a main road, it’s not wasn’t walking distance from anywhere. Can’t hear the road with windows closed and aircon was perfect. Great nights sleep.
