The pictures really don’t reflect the actual standard of the place, which was disappointing. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the gym and spa facilities, (no gym) as well as the expectation of being able to enjoy views of the pyramids, but the advertising feels quite misleading. The hotel is nowhere near the pyramids and you can’t really walk anywhere nearby without needing taxis for almost everything.
Even small things like tea and coffee in the room don’t include milk, and they seem to charge extra for anything they can. Had I known all of this beforehand, I honestly would have tried to switch my booking to the Marriott opposite instead.
Also, I wouldn’t recommend booking taxis or tours through the hotel as they overcharge heavily. Uber is a much cheaper and easier option for transport, and apps like GetYourGuide are far better for booking tours.
Overall a very disappointing experience even the bed and pillows were not great.
